Bring back the 34th St Transit Way plan! Implement it on 57th St, too! So many bus riders on that corridor, such opportunity for them to experience faster commutes.
Hey Manhattan! Join us to discuss proposals on improving bus service and infrastructure along 34th St. When: 1/15, 6:30PM Where: In-Person: @ManhattanBoard4 424 W 33rd St, Suite 580 Virtual: bit.ly/ManhattanCB4

Anecdotal on my part, but when I checked Google Maps around 9am, it was all Green at the Manhattan crossings, including the tunnels from Jersey. Let's go.
no where near enough data to be decisive but it looks like NJ commuters are especially benefiting from congestion pricing this morning

Just evacuated an F mid station. Major shout out to @NYCTSubway personell for the calmness, professionalism, and instruction throughout. Shouts to @FDNY for getting us off the train too. Crazy walking in the tunnel and out an emergency exit to steeet level!

You should be outraged about Intro 606 (a bill to require e-bike "licenses") -- EVEN IF YOU DO NOT RIDE AN E-BIKE. It's an insane stop-and-frisk revival. The bill would let the NYPD pull over ANYONE on ANY BIKE -- even if they haven't broken the law. Let me explain...

The Queens Blvd redesign is complete, including the longest protected bike lane in NYC (14 miles total, 7 in each direction) Since it began in 2015, this redesign has cut traffic deaths by 68%. We will continue with capital improvements on Queens Blvd in 2025.

Surprised there isn't a thought to cross-honor at LIRR Far Rockaway station for those transferring from "H" shuttle. Should really include that @MTA, @NYCTSubway, and @LIRR,
The MTA says the lengthy suspension of service is necessary to fortify infrastructure against extreme weather: bit.ly/3UD1t1s

woah. big, if executed.
.@amNewYork gets action! MTA officials say they plan to dig a tunnel under a cemetery in Queens for the IBX project instead of having the light rail run on the street in Middle Village. Story TK

Last week, we brought back our Crashland banner to Ashland/Lafayette, the site of the missing block of the Ashland/Navy protected bike lane. A year ago, it was reported the Mayor’s advisor Ingrid Lewis-Martin ordered DOT to stop work, and we rallied in support of the project.

Yes, per McDonald’s, “one train (all 11 cars) to Citi Field will be completely wrapped in celebration of Grimace. They’ll depart from Hudson Yards at 1 p.m. ET. Some lucky fans may even spot Grimace himself on route just before game time.” nytimes.com/athletic/5827280…

New signals for the A/C in Brooklyn, which would save time for riders in three boroughs, are indefinitely paused along with congestion pricing Thanks @GovKathyHochul
Northbound A/C trains are running with delays while we address a signal problem near Jay St-MetroTech.

The shocking & sudden decline of outdoor dining, captured by @Streetfilms. The seasonal program has flung NYC five years into the past & reversed all the fun, business-friendly benefits of curbside dining. We traded this historic vibrancy, energy & potential for parked cars.

The Adams administration has officially decimated outdoor dining. Only 1 of 10 restaurants citywide has decided to keep roadway dining. Our city sadly prioritized parking a car or two on the street over a vibrant streetscape & more space for us to enjoy NYC’s great restaurants.
Per @NYC_DOT the final numbers on outdoor dining applications: 3,226 License Applications 2,592 Restaurants    1,277 Sidewalk-only 681 Roadway-only 634 Both Sidewalk and roadway  #NBC4NY
