On October 3, 2026, Rwandan actress Clenia Dusenge, popularly known as Madederi, publicly appealed to Uganda's army chief, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, urging action against Rwandan YouTubers criticizing President Paul Kagame.
Among the individuals she named was Sgt. Major Robert Kabera, a former Rwandan soldier and outspoken Kagame critic who ran MAJOR ROBERT TV.
โ ๏ธ Just 14 days later, Kabera was reportedly found beheaded in Uganda, where he had sought refuge after fleeing Rwanda.
His killing has raised serious questions about the safety of Rwandan government critics living in exile.
