“There are grudges against the govt..but they are not over SIR exercise..The youth is worried over the unemployment situation, esp in the context of global situation; the middle class is nervous over the volatile markets and fears that their investments may not yield profits”

On @elonmusk 's question, "Is Ambani the real boss of India?" The direct answer is: No. Jio Satcom is in the same queue as @Starlink , subject to the same requirements. A regulatory process that can be accelerated by a founder's social media reach is not a process. It is a favour. And India does not run on favours anymore. Trust the process, Elon. As the Opposition parties close their ranks and a new-found warmth develops between the Cong & CJP with the protests against Gyanesh Kumar over the SIR row picking momentum, the BJP seems to be facing mounting challenges ahead of the high-stakes Assembly elections

Cheruvayal Raman called me his daughter when I met him, and he touched my heart. From then on, I teased him and called him my Malayali Acchan. When we last spoke to each other a month back, he wanted me to go and meet him. I promised that I would, but I had to cut short my trip to Wayanad because of events in Delhi so I missed meeting him thinking that I would return soon. When I heard about his passing today my heart sank. My Malayali acchan was wise, dignified and bold in thought and action. He wanted more for his people, he refused to accept less. His mind could not tolerate discrimination and injustice. He showed me his awards and honours with sadness in his eyes - he said they would mean nothing to him until his people could live better lives. He was a genius in his knowledge of paddy and agriculture and he understood the great value of his own culture and tradition. He was proud of his heritage and lived it with every breath. I will miss my wise friend and keep his teachings in my heart for always. India has lost a noble son.

What’s this @JioCare ? Have paid for recharging a Jio Number, but it’s not been successful. When sought refund of Rs 429, it says it’s processed. But haven’t received the money.

Several pointed questions have emerged over the Delhi Police’s handling of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Critics and opposition voices have asked why entry and exit were restricted at around 57 metro stations, trains were cancelled, and large-scale preventive detentions were carried out when the Supreme Court had directed that public transport should not be completely halted. Questions have also been raised about whether the force followed its own Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and graded response protocols, especially given allegations of excessive force, denial of lawyer access to detained leaders, and the impact on ordinary citizens’ movement and the right to peaceful protest. Former Joint Commissioner OP Mishra @opmips in this episode of #InConversation addressed some of these concerns by pointing to sensitive intelligence inputs, the high-security nature of central Delhi, and the need to balance law and order with the constitutional right to dissent. Right to Protest vs Law & Order: Is the BJP Worried as INDIA Bloc Takes on the Government So what exactly is worrying BJP more ….. youth joining the protest ? - Or Rahul Gandhi’s street strategy? - Or Supreme Court’s role…..as the Apex Court examines …where the line should be drawn between legitimate protest and excessive force? In this episode of #ExpressNewsroom, I along with my colleagues @MathewLiz @manojcg4u @apurva_hv and @Joshi_Uncle examine the deepening clash between the constitutional right to peaceful protest and the state’s duty to maintain law and order, as Delhi faces near-lockdown restrictions, barricades and detentions amid INDIA Bloc and youth-led (including CJP) protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls and allegations of electoral irregularities. The discussion also evaluates the broader implications for democratic space - when protest and order collide. Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
