Spoiler: His mom had him in the car when she tried to run over the cops.
Weird how you’d have no indication of this from the headline.

Anybody who says something like “end poverty instead” or “end homelessness instead” in response to the Roadster demo is simply an idiot.
You can only utter such an asinine thing if you have no concept of how much things cost. Nor how much governments already spend. If it were as easy as you seem to think to solve these problems, they would be solved already.

Canadians don't even have their own politics anymore. They just watch CBC and get told to worry about America. It's their new national identity.

We’re at a weird spot in our civilization. It’s somehow simultaneously more and less competent.
The god computer can cure cancer but the nurse doesn’t speak English. The flock camera can find a missing child in 5 minutes but you get robbed by a guy with 30 priors.

This. Democrats want people that will drive the nation into the ground by voting "Yes" for destructive changes. Literally anybody can do that job.

I sat my 7-year-old down and explained to him that dying industries (legacy media, academia, DNC politics) ride algorithmically driven cultural hysterias both because it’s the only way they can stay relevant and because their business models demand it.
He looked up at me and with a tear in his eyes asked, ‘so, for the sake of the journos, the assistant professors, and Dem Politics Inc, we’re obligated to attest to the moral urgency of the hysteria and act completely emotionally dysregulated?’
‘Yes,’ I answered him. ‘Yes, that’s right.’
And then we both sat quietly.

America is actually in a pretty advanced stage of decline as an Empire, but our peak was so high that we've been able to coast for quite a while. Just imagine for a moment the logistics required to do this compared to what we're capable of now.
