Once we are detained, the Taliban tell us to remove our burqa or hijab, and they even try to look at our private parts. When we are imprisoned, the Taliban rape us as well and torture us. The Taliban tell these two girls, “Why did you leave the house alone? Where is your phone?” They also ask other deeply personal questions that must never be forced upon a free human being.
