Stronger partnerships mean stronger support for victims, survivors and families. EOPSS and @MassMOVA brought together more than 320 professionals from across Massachusetts for the 2026 Victim Services Conference. Secretary Kwon joined partners to share best practices, strengthen trauma-informed responses and improve support for child victims and survivors. Domestic violence is more pervasive than most realize. High rates of DV aren't just individual problems; they require community solutions. In 2025, Stone House helped over 200 adults & their families. #Every1KnowsSome1 & EVERYONE has a part to play this #DVAM & beyond.

Thank you Gov Healey for continuing to protect and support survivors across Massachusetts!
As a former prosecutor and attorney general, I’ve seen the courage it takes for survivors to come forward. I’ve also seen what happens when our laws fail them. Today, that’s changing. We’re closing a loophole that let trusted adults avoid accountability for preying on 16- and 17-year-olds. And we’re eliminating the statute of limitations in rape cases when new DNA evidence identifies the offender. To every survivor who spoke out and fought for this change, and the Legislators who helped get this to my desk: thank you.
