We interviewed Helen Fisher for the “Love, Sex and Marriage” special we did for John Stossel @ABC in the ´90s in Fisher’s Upper East Side apartment. RIP Helen.🙏🌈❤️
We covered this horrific news @ABC ‘s 20/20. It was just 2 years after the tragic death of Princess Diana (which we also covered live + for 1 year after). I’ll never forget the thrill of seeing ‘John-John’ eating alone upstairs at John’s Pizza on West 63rd a few years before.
It’s hard to believe my friend John Kennedy Jr. was killed, with his wife Carolyn and sister-in-law Lauren, 25 years ago today. Time does not lessen the grief and loss.
John was a personal, cultural and political connecter. A committed Democrat, he walked across the aisle with every issue of his George magazine, listening, speaking, and trying to find common ground with the other side. Needed today more than ever.
Super-proud of both the CD&P + City of Austin teams who created this video explaining why an Equity-Based Preservation Plan (the first since 1981!) needs Austinites’ input and review. Go to: PublicInput/ATXPresPlan to take the survey, review the plan, attend events this spring!
Join the City of Austin (+ me) for a Community Kickoff event next Tues., Feb. 13 from 6-8pm at Huston-Tillotson University’s King-Seabrook Chapel for a dynamic lineup of speakers on preservation, sustainability, culture and community! Free and open to the public! – at Austin, TX

via @NYTimes Fascinating graphics, projections and explanations. How will we care for our expanding aging populations while providing enough opportunities and jobs for our youth? Brilliant read for anyone leading teams, companies or future-thinkers. nytimes.com/interactive/2023…
RIP Jane Birkin, French icon, British expat, fashion, cinema + music legend. Her exquisite life was filled with chance meetings, job offers, moves, love and adventure. Her influence on fashion, movies and music will live on for years. Une vie incomparable! nytimes.com/2023/07/16/arts/…
via @nytimes Excellent piece on generational work styles and differences as we navigate RTO, hybrid and WFH. nytimes.com/2023/07/07/busin…
