@MarkyateFire attended a deliberately set small fire in some woods in Markyate. The crew quickly and safely extinguished the fire before it could spread.

01:24 @MarkyateFire @Redbournfire were mobilised to Watling Street in Flamstead to reports of a fire at a commercial premises. Crews made pumps 4 on arrival and @HarpendenFireSt @Hemel_RedWatch assisted them. Crews extinguished a large fire using HR jets and BA. 🚒🚒

13:39 @MarkyateFire and @Redbournfire attended reports of a building fire on Cowper Road, Markyate. Upon arrival, crews found that fortunately the fire was all out. Crews made safe and used PPV to clear the smoke logging.

Fire Control received a call to a property fire in a property in Markyate this morning. Crews from @MarkyateFire and @HarpendenFireSt, assisted by an appliance from @BedsFire attended and quickly extinguished the fire.

Fire Control have just received a 999 call from a lady because she had got her sideboard stuck on her stairs after trying to move it. We are not a removal company so politely advised caller to ring someone who could help.
