Wall Street’s calm is deceptive: Vix at 18.58, but single-stock implied volatility (VIXEQ) at 40.92; more than twice as high. The index masks the turbulence beneath the surface. Diversification works, until stocks start moving together.

#AI adoption is widespread. Deep adoption is not. Among surveyed firms using AI internally, 57% are still experimenting or deploying it on a limited scale. Just 10% have embedded it across core processes. What’s keeping firms from moving further?: blogs.worldbank.org/en/opend…

The capital exists. The opportunities exist. Our job is to connect the two. That means creating the conditions, tools and partnerships to bring more private investment into emerging markets, helping businesses grow and creating jobs. An important conversation at #WBGMeetings.

Gold ETFs took in a record USD 31 billion last quarter. The miner funds are still waiting for theirs.
Replying to @IGWTreport
Anyone holding gold miners lost 10.9% in September, more than gold's 6.6%, and the miner funds saw their largest outflows in more than a year. Priced in gold, though, the miners still trade above any level from late 2022 to 2024, so the selling came off a high base.
