I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all.
The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field.
If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use.
This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live.
Some of the interesting pages:
Treatments: onco.cc/drugs
A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/
And targets: onco.cc/targets/
The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/
1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/
Bottlenecks on oncology: onco.cc/bottlenecks/
Open questions (LETS GO RESEARCH PEOPLE) onco.cc/open-questions/
Startup requests (LETS GO STARTUP PEOPLE) onco.cc/startup-requests/
Mechanics of cancer: onco.cc/mechanics
Battlefronts: onco.cc/fronts/
Isotope supply: onco.cc/isotopes
Key papers: onco.cc/key-papers
Pipeline funnels: onco.cc/pipeline
Cancer by type: onco.cc/cancers/
Institutional rankings: onco.cc/institutions/
The startups: onco.cc/startups/
Heros and heroines : onco.cc/heroes/
Key medical people: onco.cc/people/
Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/
Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/
There are other views as well, take a browse.
Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo
If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live.
If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated.
I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well.
I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem.
Let the feedback flow!

As one goes through the idea maze with too much vc funding, existing constraints that have built up act like friction in the idea maze. So unless you shake off the constraints with radical moves (eg deleting code, removing customers, changing culture, RIFs) you cannot achieve pivots.
Making corrections earlier before they build up is the way to go.
Iterative friction removal in the idea maze.
Ultimately you can always go again.
“None are great” is a value judgment
1 and 3 are perfectly good options and the answer is touch grass: being upset you aren’t worth 9 figures yet is unbecoming
Being bored to some degree is a lack of imagination. Being prematurely disappointed is a problem of not being willing to do the work.
The thing is: the idea maze is changing all the time. Keep going on option 1 with the modifier: I know the idea maze is shifting. How do I position myself to get to the prize using my market and team advantages?
The idea that “starting over is easier” is generally cope

Yep. Are you great at art, are you enthusiastic about the project and company, and can you work on a team? That’s what matters, not a piece of paper. The value of university isn’t that piece of paper, it’s what you learn there, and the school of hard knocks has open enrollment.

Distribution is key and it’s something most game devs either outsource or treat like it’s a burden rather than integral to the creative process!
Another lesson, Levels is iterating on the game at a rapid pace and it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the game will evolve from nice ai demo to a fun playable game.
I’m saddened that my fellow game devs are shitting on this, did we forget .io games were and are huge?

Tastemaker > Influencer
You all know we are hurdling towards a world of deafening noise. Limitless creation is at our collective fingertips because the friction between idea and output is becoming nearly non-existent.
The people with the best taste, who most effectively filter the noise for others, will be the ones who capture the most attention.

Many games are notoriously bad at this, adding so many blocking overlays to explain how the UI works inducing rage quit before hitting the aha moment.
The most successful use a layered complexity approach, flow like butta…

People say successful startups are rocketships
Right now, my most successful portfolio companies are more like trains…
- Very slow, but focused start
- Crapton of hard effort to get things rolling
- Steady speed-increase, now absurd momentum
Most of the rockets exploded 👀

👀100% agree. We are building similarly, our business is somewhat content heavy (games). Often this is used as an excuse to bloat both the team and budgets.
Advantages:
>Our size gives us agility and ability to increase our opportunity surface area.
>If we fumble it isn’t catastrophic.
>We can deploy capital where it more meaningfully will move the needle!

@konstantinaps_ turned what was perceived as a bug (human intervention) into a core *feature* and the addition of the marketplace was an absolutely genius founder move. This gives studios the assurance they’ll get truly production ready assets!
It should be no surprise that this is the same approach that will successful across the entire development pipeline (for code production we are at estimated 80% AI with 20% human intervention in our pipeline excluding some core systems).

Some harsh reality on steam! Building games has never been more possible than today.
However, filtering by quality by most metrics paints a different picture! (Be careful how you quantify quality)

Fortnite is transitioning from game to platform with Epic Games’s UEFN imitative, and it might end up one of the biggest opportunities for startups in a long time
@JoshLu with a great thread 👇🏼 – at Los Angeles, CA
Games founders: go build in Fortnite Creative/UEFN! Why?
1. UEFN is paying out big ($XXXM)
2. The race just started & you're not behind
3. New founders could have a big advantage
We believe UEFN startups are venture-backable and would like to see them apply to SPEEDRUN

Finally made it back to SF ~3am today (delayed flights, yay). Spent the last week meeting folks in Austin, Miami, and Tampa. Definite highlight was speaking on a gaming panel with these other awesome ladies. TY @solana @hackerhouses for hosting!

Show the people what they want. They’re browsing Steam to see your game not your logo! (or other text)
You have all but 1-3 seconds to grab attention- make it count.

If your devs aren’t using AI, they’re not as efficient as they could be
This whole thread of features is gold!
In 2018 we announced Multiplayer Mode. Since then, Replit became the world's leading collaborative editor.
Today, we're announcing AI Mode, which infuses state-of-the-art intelligence into nearly all IDE features, the next major evolution for Replit: blog.replit.com/ai
