Everyone keeps saying AI is eating entry-level jobs.
Three 2026 studies I have read this morning say something narrower.
Companies that adopt AI are adding seniors faster (sounds strange). Young workers in the most exposed jobs are getting hired less. People already in those jobs are mostly keeping them (not saying this is positive).
The ladder is still there but the first rung of the ladder just got thinner and harder to get on.
If you're early career, stop building 200 identical apps. Show work you've already done.

Was slightly mindblown when I discovered this.
The two parts to the word “helicopter” are not “heli” and “copter”, but “helico” meaning spiral, and “pter” meaning one with wings, like pterodactyl.
