Yes, this is why it is so rare….ineffective for this injury/physiology. The often discussed 2010 LAC series: 3/258 EDT organ donors….none of those 3 had cranial GSW #EAST2024

Grateful to @PennTrauma for moving this discussion forward. We found greater survival & donation in isolated GSW to the brain with CPR in our @EAST_TRAUMA MIT, but couldn’t comment on EDT because use in our series was so rare. #EAST2024 tsaco.bmj.com/content/4/1/e0…
