Been quiet on the design front for a while as IRL has taken over a bit, but I'm currently working on a free web app that OSR/D&D folks may find useful. Watch this space!

I feel like a very narrow demographic and age group will find this meme I stole as funny as I did
showcasing your body of work portfolio-style is a right ballache, and that's all I'm going to say about that!
I had this one! Didn't find the troll nightmare worthy though, just fascinated with it.
Guys we need Zelda Oracle series remakes so we have a chance to erase Ricky from the timeline. Definitely the dumbest thing in any Zelda game.

BOB HOSKINS with a sobering thought after finding out the Super Mario Bros. film was based on a video game.

It's simple
Slowly but surely turned my wife into an Arthurian obsessive. She's now seen Excalibur, read The Once and Future King and is hungry for more. Previously she'd just known the Disney Sword in the Stone and Monty Python's Holy Grail. Le Morte d'Arthur is next on her reading list.
Love the newer Heroquest from @IncHasbro in general, but making an Elf Rogue and an Orc bard is plain demented. That's modern D&D shit. HQ was always more pulpy. Orcs are for killing and an elf is an elf. New player classes should be human or a species unto themselves, IMO.
Saw The Andromeda Strain for the first time recently. Incredible film. Couldn't stop thinking this could've been a Quatermass story.

Big, wide panels. In comics you can break out Lawrence of Arabia aspect ratios and not a soul can stop you.
Nobody should sleep on Darksiders: Genesis (Diabloesque twinstick action game), least of all because of the phenomenal soundtrack by Gareth Coker which truly helps elevate it beyond a Darksiders 'spin off'. 1/3
Stand out mentions go to: the final boss music, cleverly reinterpreting the game's subtle main menu theme so that by the time you get to it you realise you already know it - but now with extra tempo, base and string flourishes. 2/3
And of course, Astarte. A boss character we know for all of five minutes, with a theme that manages to convey the tragedy and danger of the character so well, it hits like a gut punch. 3/3 Check them out!
