Imagine if, on the anniversary of Hiroshima, Americans marched past Japanese communities waving American flags and denouncing Japan. Or if Britain chose the anniversary of Dresden to stage victory marches through London. We don’t. Those dates are treated with sensitivity because whatever your view of the wider war, the anniversary of mass civilian death is not the day to celebrate.
Yet on 7 October — the anniversary of the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust — demonstrators have deliberately chosen to march through London for the Palestinian cause.
They do it, simply, because they are utterly repugnant human beings

That was a common response to us urging students not to hold a pro-Palestine protest on Oct 7.
We can't ban protests & can only ask the Home Sec to do so if the risk of serious disorder is so high that it can’t be managed by conditions.
That's not the case here.

Zion=Israel.
Zion / Israel is where the Jewish People come from.
Zionism is the belief in the Jewish people's right to self‑determination in their ancestral homeland, Israel.
Many Zionists are not Jewish.
Zionism and Israel form an integral part of Jewish identity for most Jews the world over.
