Every military wants soldiers that don't question power.
Critical thinking isn't part of vertical institutions like the armed forces.
It was a heck of a thing, having to learn how to k*ll another person when I was 16.
A big part of that was removing the "self".
Pete Hegseth complained that the Pentagon sent officers to Harvard to study strategy and leadership — and they came back “too Harvard,” with “globalist, radical ideologies.”
In other words:
The military sent people to learn diplomacy, history, and international law.
They came back thinking critically.
And that made him uncomfortable.
He doesn’t want officers who understand the world. He wants soldiers who don’t question power.

I've won my regional @SpaceApps competition with my app MosquitOFF! MosquitOFF predicts where mosquito growth is most likely.
It uses @NASA satellite data, as well as Paraguay's population and dengue historical data to predict best conditions for growth. mosquitoff.vercel.app
