So it’s official: Reuters has confirmed that the White House gave the order to disrupt Starlink so Russia could attack Kyiv with no advanced warning. The US aided and abetted Putin’s killing of numerous civilians in Ukraine. Trump’s a traitor, a Russian asset who is using US military technology to help our enemy.

Hmmm… who to believe… Andy Burnham or the compulsive liar who got sacked twice for lying, lied to Parliament, lied to The Queen, cheated on two wives and ignored the Ministerial Code. Tricky one.

Helen Whately & Kemi Badenoch are both millionaires. They claim the most.
Incl £74.6k in rent paid for by us. Their bills, council tax, travel expenses, subsidised food & drink.
But the Conservatives want you to believe disabled people on an average of £15k a year are the issue

Join me on GB News where I will be lying about what Andy Burnham said, pretending to give a shit about pensioners and definitely not mentioning any £5m gifts, illegal donations or police investigations.

👏 Finally, we have a PM telling the truth about why Britain is stuck in a trap, a trap that had been closing around us for decades, but which finally snapped shut with Brexit.
The extraction of public wealth has hollowed out our essential services. It was enabled by an over centralised, winner takes all political system that hands enormous power to governments elected by a minority and allows wealthy donors and vested interests far too much influence over policy.
In 1960s, the Beeching cuts dismantled thousands of miles of railway. They were implemented under transport minister Ernest Marples, who had longstanding links to the roadbuilder Marples Ridgway. Britain promoted motorways and cars by destroying much of the alternative. Other European countries expanded roads while retaining far stronger rail networks.
In 1964, Tesco founder Jack Cohen successfully lobbied for the abolition of Resale Price Maintenance. It helped supermarkets consolidate power at the expense of independent retailers, farmers and smaller suppliers. Much of Europe imposed stronger restraints on monopoly and protected domestic production.
Thatcher’s assault on industry was the most brutal stage. Rapid deindustrialisation devastated communities, while Britain’s North Sea oil and gas windfall helped the government absorb the resulting unemployment instead of building national wealth for the future, as Norway 🇳🇴 did.
Then came the great privatisation: water, energy, transport and other strategic infrastructure treated as assets to be sold and exploited rather than services essential to national resilience.
We can now see where that politics ends: sewage in our rivers, vulnerable water supplies, failing infrastructure, regional inequality and private extraction underwritten by the public.
Brexit was the culmination. It removed Britain from the European structures that had constrained some of this behaviour, weakened our economy and left an already centralised state even more exposed to vested interests.
So @andyburnham is right to connect our European future with electoral reform.
To begin releasing Britain from the trap, we must repair our relationship with Europe and replace FPTP.
Those are not separate reforms. They are the two keys needed to unlock the country. 👏

I must say I’m very disappointed in the police over their dealing with the RAF Fairford incident. By announcing that the suspects are British nationals, they have completely undermined the stream of made up bollocks from myself and every other right wing gobshite on Twitter.

Farage: "We are not sovereign until we leave the ECHR."
The only European countries outside the ECHR are Russia and Belarus.
For the UK to quit the ECHR would be to hand a huge victory to Putin in his war against human rights and international law.
Farage continues his treasonous collaboration in Putin's war against democracy, freedom, and human rights. He is a traitor, and that is the biggest issue by far in today's British politics. – at Brighton, England

Well said. 👏👏
‘Anyone who tells me “God gave me this land and told me to do this violent act”, I can’t have a conversation with.’
@AndrewMarr9 'has no time for Hamas or Islamism', but says the idea of ‘allowing the Palestinians to be wiped out is intolerable'
It’s great to listen to someone who genuinely cares for all tiers of society but most importantly bottom up first as nothing trickles down the other way to the vast majority of UK communities. Let’s back @andyburnham as he has a track record of success.
Think this is the general scholarly consensus of the world’s historians and academics 👍
Think Clinton should be near great for his accomplishments home and abroad though 😉
My two favourite guitarists playing my favourite record- brilliant @EricClapton @MarkKnopfler

Ten minutes of Tony Benn that explain more about power, class and the theft of democracy than a decade of managed debate on the BBC.
