Maps are where stories begin… First, you build the landscape. Then you plant the story seeds that give people a reason to explore it. Which Lore Icon is your favorite?

Rings of Power is an abomination, but once it’s finally cancelled it will be forgotten to the sand of time pretty quickly. It’s infuriating now, but in a few years nobody will care. Unlike Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings.

It comes with a number of city block brushes. Most of the buildings are named for specific things so you have the creative flexibility to make them whatever you want. The only time I name them specifically (like a blacksmith) it’s just to clarify my intention.

Does your fantasy city map feel a little…random? A blacksmith here, a market there, a temple…somewhere? Instead of placing buildings one at a time, try thinking in districts. Similar trades and institutions often clustered together, creating recognizable quarters within a city.
