THE HYPOCRISY AGAINST KENYAN SOMALIS! π°πͺπΈπ΄
For years, some Kenyans have told Kenyan Somalis to βgo back to Somalia,β as if we are not citizens of this country. Today, Khalid, a young footballer born in Kenya, is representing Somaliaβs Under-17 team, and suddenly some people are reacting with anger.
Why the double standards?
Kenyan Somalis should not have to prove their belonging every day. We are part of Kenyaβs history, society and future. A footballer representing Somalia does not erase his birthplace or deny the identity of Kenyan Somalis.
If you tell us to go to Somalia, why get angry when someone chooses to represent Somalia in football?
Kenyan Somalis deserve respect, not selective patriotism. Our citizenship is not up for debate. π°πͺβπΎ

Whatβs happening in France is a wake-up call to the entire world. π The cost of living keeps rising while everyday people struggle to survive. People are tired of working hard just to barely get by. Governments need to start listening to the people before frustration turns into chaos. π―ππ½

As long as @Football_Kenya uses Luo-Luhya politics and over merits. We shall lose many talents to Somalia.
A Somali-Kenyan kid born in Kenya to a 10generation Kenyan born linage has a high chance of making it in Somalia National Team than in Kenya! Thatβs why theyβre fighting Mohamed Bajaber. @bomboluly

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government canβt selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But thatβs exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, itβs important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administrationβs fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone β all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And itβs not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies β from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omarβs life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and sheβs been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omarβs political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, thereβs no reason to believe it will stop with her β or that future presidents, in either party, wonβt do the same.

π¨ 80 YEARS IN PRISON β WILSON WAMBUGU IS FINALLY FREE AFTER A SUCCESSFUL APPEAL! π’π°πͺ
Wilson Wambugu used to work as a farmhand for one of his aunts in Nyeri, earning just KSh 6,000 a month. Because his mother was mentally ill, he spent KSh 5,000 every month buying her medicine, leaving himself with very little.
In 2023, one of his cousins from the same homestead approached him and demanded that he buy him alcohol. Wilson explained that the only thing he could afford was a cup of tea. The cousin allegedly became angry and threatened to teach him a lesson.
Wilson thought it was a joke and continued working. About three hours later, police arrived, arrested him and accused him of defiling three young boys.
According to Wilson, the boys later said they did not know him and had allegedly been pressured into implicating him. He also claimed that other details in the case had been forged.
Wilson was taken to court and sentenced to 80 YEARS IN PRISON.
He remained behind bars from 2023 until someone heard his story and decided to help him appeal. As he narrated what he claimed had happened to him, Wilson reportedly broke down in tears.
THE GOOD NEWS: HIS APPEAL SUCCEEDED, AND HE HAS NOW REGAINED HIS FREEDOM. π
The most heartbreaking part of this story is that his mother reportedly never knew what had happened to her son because of her mental condition.
The young man who had sacrificed most of his small salary to buy her medicine was suddenly taken away, leaving her unaware of the ordeal he was facing.
Imagine spending years in prison, losing your freedom and precious time with your family, only to be released after a successful appeal.
If Wilson's account is accurate, his story highlights the devastating consequences that wrongful convictions and false accusations can have on an individual's life and family.
Justice must be based on evidence, every accused person deserves a fair trial, and anyone who has been wrongfully convicted deserves a chance to clear their name.
May Wilson find healing, peace and a fresh beginning after this painful chapter of his life. π°πͺπ

Saudi Man Reportedly Marries Ethiopian Housemaid in Story That Has Taken Arab Social Media by Storm
A story circulating widely across social media platforms in the Arab world has sparked heated discussions after a Saudi Arabian man was reportedly said to have married an Ethiopian woman identified as Nejila, who previously worked as a domestic worker in his home.
