An Egyptian man has sparked debate online after declaring that ancient Egyptians were Africans, not Arabs, while arguing that modern Egyptians can identify as both African and Arab. πͺπ¬
In a video shared on October 2, 2026, he argued that Egypt had its own history and identity long before Arab influence arrived.
Located in North Africa, ancient Egypt developed one of the world's most remarkable civilisations thousands of years before the Arab conquest of Egypt between 639 and 642 AD.
Over time, Arabic became the country's dominant language, and Arab culture became deeply rooted in Egyptian society.
His comments have reignited a longstanding debate about Egypt's African identity, Arab heritage, and the complex history that connects the two.
Can Egypt be both African and Arab?π

βEAST YA WAPI?β β DUALE CHALLENGES GACHAGUA OVER ISIOLO
Health CS @HonAdenDuale has challenged former Deputy President Rigathi Gachaguaβs description of Isiolo as part of the Mt Kenya bloc, questioning the basis of the regional classification. Gachagua had previously included Isiolo and Marsabit in what he called Mt Kenya North, expanding his definition of the political bloc. The exchange has reignited debate over regional identity, representation and who speaks for the diverse communities of Northern Kenya.
A HORROR STORY: A HONEYMOON THAT ALLEGEDLY ENDED IN TRAGEDY
A newly married couple from Bangladesh travelled to Saudi Arabia for their honeymoon, hoping to make beautiful memories while performing Umrah in the holy land.
During their visit, the husband allegedly kissed his wife on the forehead outside a mosque. What should have been a tender moment between a newly married couple reportedly turned into a nightmare.
According to the circulating account, a Pakistani man filmed the couple and alerted the Saudi authorities. The couple were allegedly arrested, and the story claims they were beheaded with a sword without being given a trial.
Their bodies were reportedly placed in boxes and transported by airplane back to Bangladesh, leaving their families to face an unimaginable tragedy.
A honeymoon that should have been filled with love, happiness, and cherished memories was instead transformed, according to this disturbing account, into a story of fear, loss, and heartbreak.
A story of love turned into a horror story.
A Bangladeshi π§π© couple went on their honeymoon to Umrah. A man of Pakistani π΅π° nationality filmed the couple kissing in the courtyard of a mosque and sent the video to Saudi Arabian πΈπ¦ authorities.
The couple was then arrested and sentenced to death. Saudi Arabian authorities executed Abdulbasir and Siti by beheading. Their bodies were sent to Bangladesh. The Bangladesh government, in turn, issued a note to Saudi Arabia.
SHOCKING STORY: BANGLADESHI π§π© COUPLE ALLEGEDLY EXECUTED AFTER KISSING DURING UMRAH
A Bangladeshi couple named Abdulbasir and Siti reportedly travelled to Saudi Arabia πΈπ¦ to perform Umrah during their honeymoon. Like many newly married couples, they hoped to spend time together while visiting the holy cities, making memories that would stay with them for the rest of their lives.
According to a story circulating on social media, the couple were seen kissing in the courtyard of a mosque when a man of Pakistani nationality allegedly recorded them on his phone. The man reportedly sent the video to the Saudi Arabian authorities, leading to the couple's arrest.
The story claims that Abdulbasir and Siti were subsequently tried, sentenced to death, and executed by beheading. Their bodies were then allegedly returned to Bangladesh, where the incident reportedly prompted the Bangladeshi government to send a diplomatic note to Saudi Arabia to express its concerns.
The account has been shared as a shocking story about the consequences of public behaviour in a holy place and the severe punishments allegedly imposed on the couple.

THE HYPOCRISY AGAINST KENYAN SOMALIS! π°πͺπΈπ΄
For years, some Kenyans have told Kenyan Somalis to βgo back to Somalia,β as if we are not citizens of this country. Today, Khalid, a young footballer born in Kenya, is representing Somaliaβs Under-17 team, and suddenly some people are reacting with anger.
Why the double standards?
Kenyan Somalis should not have to prove their belonging every day. We are part of Kenyaβs history, society and future. A footballer representing Somalia does not erase his birthplace or deny the identity of Kenyan Somalis.
If you tell us to go to Somalia, why get angry when someone chooses to represent Somalia in football?
Kenyan Somalis deserve respect, not selective patriotism. Our citizenship is not up for debate. π°πͺβπΎ

β οΈπIn Brazil, a vendor approached a father walking with his little daughter, and when the family didn't buy his products, he kicked their stroller and pulled a knife.
The father, skilled in close combat martial arts, took the knife from the vendor's hand and killed him.

The post's description of the Brazil incident is false. In the 2023 Blumenau case, the father struck the vendor with a metal bar, retrieved a knife from home, returned and stabbed him 19 times; convicted of qualified homicide after self-defense claim rejected.

As long as @Football_Kenya uses Luo-Luhya politics and over merits. We shall lose many talents to Somalia.
A Somali-Kenyan kid born in Kenya to a 10generation Kenyan born linage has a high chance of making it in Somalia National Team than in Kenya! Thatβs why theyβre fighting Mohamed Bajaber. @bomboluly
