It’s been a fun 5-6 years, but today is my last day in the trenches. I’ve round tripped 6 figures, multiple times. 4 months ago, I had $350 k. Today, I have $50. I know what you’re probably thinking, “no need to announce your departure,” but I want to leave all my crypto friends with one last farewell and a piece of advice— This space moves fast. You may catch yourself thinking “if I buy this and flip it, I can get more of the coin I have conviction in.” That was my downfall. Now the coins I have conviction in, I can’t afford to buy. All it takes is one wrong trade. So I’m walking away for good, right before probably the biggest crypto szn in history. Not by choice, but because of bad decisions. Don’t do what I did—Hold what you have conviction in, but don’t be afraid to take some profits every now and then. You deserve that after all the time and effort you put into this space. Good luck to all the people I’ve met along the way. May your lives flourish and crypto bless you beyond your imagination. It was a fun ride. Take care everyone.

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone in my network heard of an underground festival called “Burning Man”?
One of my buddies went this year to “heal from the trauma of late-stage capitalism and reconnect with his inner child.”
He spent nine days in a k-hole with three management consultants called Chase, Tyler and Blake, then came home and launched an AI recruitment startup.
Inspiring.

Feel like $LIGMA has an insane setup, just needs some attention

Paired with Figma
CEO’s ENS is publicly verifiable — 40% of supply sent to him
Could get crazy if that position becomes millions
He’s literally tweeted the Ligma/Figma joke himself before

Bear markets breed impulsiveness & impatience. They teach you to only buy when you’re first and to crave catalysts in minutes, not weeks.
That style nets modest wins and, more importantly, keeps you alive. The problem with modest wins is that variance eventually draws most traders back down. This game is won on home runs, and home runs require sitting still.
I have held all my current holdings for a month and have no issue waiting longer. They are undervalued and there is no shot clock. Every life-changing trade I’ve made followed this pattern.
Most people can’t break these reflexes. They will learn the hard way. Change your mindset, change your behavior, change the people you follow.
Let’s win.

I still believe this is the early stage of GameFi. If you haven’t read it yet, you can read it here:

Today I’ll explain why this project can succeed. First, here’s how the logic of meme-funded projects usually works:
1. Someone (the dev) has an interesting idea.
2. The community creates a token, and trading fees or a percentage of the total supply is sent to the dev.
3. The expectation is that the dev will accept it and use those funds to keep developing the project, hoping it succeeds.
That’s all. But no — instead of letting the dev focus on building the project, you then demand that they communicate, post updates several times a day, host Spaces, engage, integrate the token, etc. These things completely go against point 3 above.
I’ve seen many devs get exhausted because those things are not their strength or their main purpose (even though they also want the token to succeed). So please be understanding. Don’t force them to degenerate like us. Let them focus on their actual expertise, and let the final results show through the most important things: number of users and revenue. This is the natural path — not forced — and the easiest way to succeed.
That’s why I still support @fifteenai . Here’s what he’s done:
1. He received 704 $SOL (~$60K USD)
2. He bought back ~7%
3. He has accepted this community multiple times
4. He focused on building the product. Currently around 20K users in just 20 days. His previous project already had 10 million users. xitter.cf/fifteenai/status/20876…
5. Open to integrating the token someday.
And he always keeps a certain distance from the crypto community (if you pay attention in Discord, he’s barely active there either). Almost all of his time is spent finishing the product. 20K users , the Las Vegas event numbers: 2.5M voxels created with 843 participants in just 6 days, plus other social channels like TikTok, Reddit, Instagram… totaling over 1 million views.
He’s clearly gradually proving what I’m saying. Looking back at the chart, it’s also holding very strongly. I believe if he acted like most other devs — rushing to accept the token, integrate it, host Spaces, be very active on socials, reply and discuss with us… then we’d probably just have a pump and dump like so many other projects.
I’ve been shaken a few times, but in the end I still believe the way he’s doing it is right.
The problem isn’t him. The problem is us. Be patient.
