“Sylvestre refuses. “I won’t be the guy that splits the right. I will not come up with a new party,” he said. “If the progressives want to leave the UCP, they’re very welcome to do it. We’re not going anywhere.” politico.com/news/2026/10/21…

“David Coletto of Abacus Data polled on that and found that only one-third of the separatist voters truly want Alberta independence. The convinced separatist vote in Alberta is about eight per cent.” #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli calgaryherald.com/news/braid…

There are still serious questions about political judgment, accountability and the priorities that brought Alberta to this point. The referendum may be over, but the responsibility for what happened hasn’t disappeared. Nor should our demand for answers.

ALBERTANS, THANK YOU! Today, I am thankful for the 18,000 #ForeverCanadian volunteers that trusted and supported me for the last 18 months. I’m also thankful for everyone who voted to keep Canada united. I’d like to drive the Unity Bus into a sunset, but there may more to do.

Hegseth is a contemptuous little coward.
Hegseth on Afghanistan: I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters. It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there. Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations. In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths. t.co/x4tGhxJiFG

We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit. It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion. In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding. In the post below, we share more details about our new fund. anthropic.com/news/public-be…

🟥 Is anyone surprised that MAGA's leaders openly despise all of the USA's traditional democratic allies, and yet openly admire murderous dictators who have warrants issued against them by the International Criminal Court? 😏 VANCE: “Putin is soft-spoken and deliberate and cares about Russia’s interests.” ♥️

Every time you do something that makes you more of who you wish to be, you’ve done a rewire. Stack more wins on top of more wins and the new way of being becomes automatic. Every little step counts. SAVE this as a reminder. My upcoming book, The Robot and The Gardener, will be available worldwide in February. Pre-order it via the link in my bio.
