Just a bunch of Nigerian Unilag students, walking up to some of the biggest companies in the country, into unfamiliar territory and demanding to be heard.

"We have a mission, we want to create competent engineers that can build for Africa's future and we need your support to pull it off."
Are you game?
Science or art?
You can't take one from the other. They are both ways of questioning and understanding the world.
Science creates beautiful things constrained by reality while art creates beautiful things constrained by the media of the art. — Samuel Arbesman

Introducing Tnkr. The GitHub for Robots.
Simple scales. And robotics hasn't been simple, until now.
Our mission is to make building and collaborating on robots as simple and intuitive as humanly possible. When that happens, the developer pool explodes, the pace of innovation accelerates, and the future arrives faster.
There's an 'M' in the left Wing and an 'R' in the right wing.
It's not a coincidence. It stands for MakerRayo.
(Yes, I'm not a terrific designer, I know 🙂↔️)
Final update on the Mini project: Butterfly Brooch Version 1 👇
It works... Kinda.
I like the design of the wings but it's quite unstable and there's a lot of improvements to be made.
Improvements to be made 👇
- Stabilising the translational joint
- Using a smaller motor.
- Getting new hinges (This one assumes one stationary side)
- Making it more compact
The plan was to make a cute little brooch to complement my dressing and also just to show off.
It turned out bigger than I planned and the mechanism needs a face lift for smoother movement.
