I'm a 14-year-old dog.
I went through the same biohacking protocol humans use and revived myself entirely (sharing more below).
6 months ago, I was slowing down and thought "well, this could be the end." Today, I'm running again.
In case you don't know, I was adopted by @morellifit after being abandoned (twice).
I was 102 pounds, morbidly obese, hypothyroid, hypertensive, suffering from chronic ear infections, partial facial paralysis, and more.
Over the next several years, I went through eye surgery, major dental work, and spleen removal.
By 14, I started slowing down fast.

“I’ll give a very, very quick background for those that don’t know Toshi.
By early August, base:0xac1bd2486aaf3b5c0fc3fd868558b082a531b2b4 was without its original founder, and a group of people, including myself, decided to do a community takeover, something often referred to as a CTO.
And we took on the project because we believed in it.
We saw the vision.
We saw the potential, not just for Toshi, but for @base.
And for me personally, I stepped into Base very hard because I saw that there were opportunities that I didn’t see anywhere else.
Having been active in this industry since 2017 and full-time since 2021, it just made sense.
And we basically built Toshi in a way that you usually don’t see.
No marketing, no influencers, purely community efforts.
Everything done by the community, for the community, we’ve run it on no supply, no budget.
Everything we’ve ever had, we’ve always spent into the project directly.
And it’s been an extreme journey for over three years now for us.
And basically, I can just say we’ve been able to build a tremendous community over the past three years.
So when you ask us what have we been up to, we’re always trying to grow the community, trying to tap into new audiences.”

Jesse recalls discovering Base’s first major meme coin while relaxing at the beach:
“Someone reached out and told me there was a meme coin on Base that was pumping. It was Bald, inspired by Brian. My first thought was, wow, this is happening beyond my control. This wasn’t part of the original plan.”

“It was the Saturday before the network was supposed to launch, and someone messaged me and they said, there’s a meme coin on base and it’s going up.
It’s bald:native, it’s after Brian.
And I remember my first reaction being like, whoa, like this is out of my control, this was not part of the plan.
And it went up and it went down and there was, you know, drama and there was excitement.
And I think as I reflect back on that and as I processed it in real time, the thing that I felt was, wow, this is beautiful because when we talk about base and we talk about building a global economy and we talk about permissionless ecosystem, this is before we even have gotten started showing the world that that’s what base is.
It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t in our control. It wasn’t a thing where we were like, yeah, this is, this is what we’re going to do.
Instead, it was the community, just doing their thing and proving to the world that base wasn’t going to be, you know, a fully controlled, fully permissioned network.
Instead, it was going to be open. It was going to be for everyone.
And that was a beautiful start.”
