The federal government needs a "Tigrayan face" to fight the TPLF. If only Amhara and Oromo soldiers enter Tigray, it looks like an invasion. If Tigrayans do it, it looks like an internal dispute. Plausible deniability: As a separate entity, abuses can be blamed on "local forces" and not the national army. Divide and rule: It is the same model used across Ethiopia. Keep them separate, dependent on federal money, so they never become strong enough to turn against the center. So it is right to question it. It Is the government's force. The separation is political, not military. #Eritrea #HumanRights #BlueRevolution #TransnationalRepression #NoMorePFDJPropaganda
