A big shout-out to the teams across #Bedfordshire who joined @CoreFTF to go 'All In For Life', taking on a series of fitness challenges to raise money for Magpas Air Ambulance.
In total, the gym and all those who took part raised an
incredible £4,360 for our lifesaving cause!
It was an honour to welcome our royal patron, HRH The Princess Royal, to the Magpas Air Ambulance Headquarters this morning, who has previously commended our service and dedicated medical team for being a lifeline for communities across the region.
Our CEO, Daryl Brown MBE DL: “This celebration highlighted the vital importance of partnership working. We are proud of our medical team members, who are there for our communities, families & loved ones—but also of our supporters who enable us to respond when every second counts.
As the first air ambulance to partner with EEAST to deliver the pioneering advanced paramedic service back in 2022, we're so pleased to see it now rolled out across the whole region; ensuring more people have access to the specialist critical care advanced paramedics can provide.
🚑 We have expanded our Advanced Paramedic Critical Care pilot across the whole east of England.
🤝In partnership with critical care charities including @BHECCS, @NARSBASICS, @Magpas_Charity, @EHAAT_, @BasicsEssex, @sarsHQ.

Magpas Air Ambulance has activated three teams to the major incident in Bedfordshire today. The Magpas Air Ambulance helicopter was dispatched at 17:19, and two rapid response vehicles subsequently responded at 18:26 and 18:54.
We have sent a number of resources, including air ambulance and our Hazardous Area Response Team, to a major incident on the railway south of #Bedford. We encourage people to avoid the area.
Further updates will be provided in due course. Please only call 999 in an emergency.
This #MothersDay, we're sharing this beautiful message from one of our clinicians who added their mum's name to our helicopter as part of our Your Name, Every Mission campaign.
Celebrate someone you love and fly their name alongside us on every mission: magpas.org.uk/ynem
An exclusive opportunity: Add your name, or the name of a loved one, to our helicopter and fly alongside us… On every mission.

Did you know?
Our air ambulance can be airborne within within 3 minutes and flies at speeds of 170-200 miles an hour, landing in places not always accessible by land ambulance.
It is only with supporters like you that we can continue to save lives 24/7, 365 days a year.
Happy New Year from everyone here at Magpas Air Ambulance!
Thank you for making 2025 a wonderful year, which saw some huge milestones for our charity. We can’t wait to see what amazing things we’ll achieve together in 2026.
With you, we save lives.
Thanks to your support, the Magpas Air Ambulance team has been responding to emergencies across the region 24/7 this winter.
Magpas Air Ambulance Doctor Matt and Critical Care Paramedic Shaunna are on shift tonight. Have fun, but stay safe, this New Year's Eve 🎆
Last week, @cambsvolbikers stopped by Magpas Air Ambulance as they visited many of the county's emergency services stations, delivering Christmas treats to those working over the festive period and spreading Christmas cheer. Thank you!
