In our new OxQUIP paper in npj @npjDigitalMed :
👉 we used different #MachineLearning techniques applied on wearable derived features.
👉 we demonstrated that falls associated with #PD can be accurately predicted up to 5 years in advance.
Parkinson’s disease increases fall risk, leading to injuries and reduced quality of life. In this paper from @NDCNOxford @UniofOxford, the @NeuroMetrology lab concludes that wearable sensors combined with machine learning can effectively predict fall risk over five years, enhancing Parkinson's disease management and prevention strategies.
