"This scrim is pointless cause this team doesn't play like this in matches" is something I've heard a million times in NA and it's a dogshit mentality to have when practicing. You don't practice against teams to get reps and understand just that one specific team, you do it to develop your own teams style and tactics to use against a wide range of team playstyles. If you give up in a scrim just because an aggro scrim team usually plays passive in matches, then you're wasting your own time. Saying it's because of the other team is mega-cope. Eventually (most likely sooner rather than later) you're going to play against a team that plays aggro, loose, or "random" so why skip an opportunity to practice against it. Focus on the things that are within your own control and stop making excuses.

We are in 2024 and people still call “Main” on Nuke. How do we change this.

Mental health is often forgotten and taken lightly in Counter-Strike, but without it, there is no joy in competing and playing the game! 👈 Look after yourselves and take some time off, if you need it, your body and mind will thank you. 🫂 #SharpLikeEagle #EveningSquad #CS2

“G2 play 4v5” aleksib PGL Major: 0.85 rating, won the major 🏆 Karrigan IEM Chengdu 0.87 rating, won IEM Chengdu 🏆 I don’t buy that argument at all, cause that’d effectively mean the best team in the world, and reigning major champs NAVI do the exact same thing. The hooxi blame game is too nuanced to simply just point the finger at one person.

This is exactly why someone flipping on a sv_cheat “wall hack” for 1 round and getting 2 years is just ridiculous 😂 This guy should be banned for life. 400,000 is UNREAL (Ik faceit / esic are not the same for bans, but still..)
blud matchfixed, made $400,000 and only receives a 2 year ban? $200,000 a year is a very good amount of money not gonna lie I know there’s a LOT of matchfixing going on already but the ban being this short will only motivate more people to do it 😞

On May 11th-12th, we'll be hosting a tournament known as David's Cup, raising money for charity in honor of @cyn1c_fps. We have many of NA's top teams participating. If you are a caster, personality, or team able to volunteer some of your time to the broadcast, please reach out!

"Trust the process." is a term that is used by a lot of esports teams. It sounds good and insightful, right? From what I can tell, the only ones who have honored this in the past year might be @Navi_B1ad3 and @natusvincere. Their results did not come instantly, and a lot of people were questioning their unexpected pivot into an international lineup with quite unproven players. Turns out, they trusted the process, and they were slowly and steadily improving game by game, tournament by tournament. We've seen organizations announce lineups and players with tons of confidence, only to swap players a few months and bad results later. Like the blameF in astralis situation. One day celebrated and resigned for several years, the next day on the bench. WTF? In my opinion, I would like to see some GMs be swapped instead of players, for their poor decision-making. I would love to hear what the player environment is like in @natusvincere. Do they feel safe and comfortable? Are they afraid to make mistakes? Do they feel like the organization trusts them and their process? Developing a proper functioning team takes time. Making mistakes is learning.

.@austincsgo_ started a conversation and was mocked relentlessly. But, what he really did was walk so players like @kscerato could run, and I think that is really brave.
