Areas of the north Delta corn crop were due after being wrecked by greensnap last year, and it definitely came through.
This outstanding hybrid plot was grown with irrigation by David Taylor near Sledge.
Thanks to David, eight participating seed companies and all involved. 🌽

✖️ Lowest August placements on record
✖️ More than 1 million fewer placements over the past 12 months
✖️ Feedlots keeping cattle longer

In the first 19 seasons of my career I had seen Neocosmospora root rot maybe five times. I’ve seen it five times in the last 10 days. The soybean disease is a red crown rot look-alike and apparently much more common in the Delta than I had previously thought @CropNetwork
