Frost: Trump traveled this nation and lied to everyone, told people the reason you can't pay your rent is because of that trans kid . The reason that you can't afford your healthcare is because of that immigrant.

When a history museum rewrites history to appease the president, it stops being a museum and starts being state propaganda. Straight-up Orwellian.
Under pressure from White House, Smithsonian removes Trump from impeachment exhibit in American History Museum. Now the text reads that "only 3 presidents seriously faced removal," meaning A. Johnson, Nixon and Clinton -- not Trump. wapo.st/3HhfyxU

Half the engineers who built these things probably went into aerospace because they saw Star Trek as a kid.
The arts and sciences have a symbiotic relationship. They feed off of one another. Today's blockbuster movie will inspire someone to build a cool rocket, which will inspire tomorrow's writers and artists. You can't have one without the other.

It’s sooo scary how grief changes people🥹
I have a friend who lost her dad a few years ago. She was top 3 sanguine people in my circle.
But my goodness, she completely transformed after her dad died. Became so quiet, so reserved, and the most painful part, she stopped dancing completely. She use to be the best dancer I know.
I was so sure it’ll be a phase, it’s been over three years, I’ve never seen that sanguine girl again.
When people say that some people die with a part of you, I didn’t get it, but I saw it in full flesh with my friend.
I once asked her if she realises how much she’d changed and she said no, that she feels same. This was the scariest part for me. She didn’t even realise she’d changed totally.
We had to meet this new woman she became and reacquaint ourselves with her, cause Lord knows, that wasn’t the friend we made from the beginning.
She’s still got her spark, not just in the way we’d previously known.
I still think about that old her some days, and I’m actually terrified that just one occurrence can change someone that drastically.
It’s why I think the whole personality/temperament thing is too volatile to tight to your chest, we’re literally just situations and events away from transforming right before our eyes…
