a cabal of twitter executives were secretly in control of twitter
BREAKING: Twitter Files released by Elon Musk, Matt Taibbi & Bari Weiss, have suggested that a secret group headed by Vijaya Gadde, the Head of Legal, Yoel Roth, the Head of Trust, CEOs Jack Dorsey & Parag, & others, made decisions secretly & without overview to moderate Twitter.

Since I know most people aren’t going to actually read this article, I’ll point out there’s no description of what his program is, what he’s doing in the program, or one example of how he’s made progress. Also, the sourcing is vague.

Is it really Thanksgiving if you don’t see Mario Lopez riding some float and think to yourself, ā€œOkay, sure?ā€

This is heartbreaking - especially this time of year. If you can, consider pitching in with some help to Together We Cope in Tinley Park or any of the other local food pantries helping our friends & neighbors with their holiday meals. abc7chicago.com/tinley-park-…

I am saddened to hear of the senseless loss of life in the shooting last night. Law enforcement and first responders are to be commended for their rapid response. All people should pray for the victims and their families.

Apartheid Clyde has reached the Find Out stage. It was fun and games when he thought Twitter was going to devolve into racial slurs and RW disinformation, but people are taking square aim at him and other large targets, and his dumb ass fired the people who could have stopped it.

Journalism is a profession that requires skill to do well. Quality reporting takes time, money, and expertise. Just because some assholes don't like the truth doesn't change it, so flooding the world with lies becomes their strategy. Real journalists are the breakwater.

Beautiful tribute from @ChrisBoghossian to the late Bob Vanderberg, who was every bit as knowledgeable and kind as he’s portrayed here. RIP.

At East Harlem’s Contento, it’s not uncommon to find guests sitting side by side with their guide dogs, rolling up to a bar that’s been lowered to perfect wheelchair height, or scanning a braille version of the menu. backofhouse.io/stories/conte…

Once again, Democrats won a majority of Americans who make less than $50,000, while Republicans won a majority of $100,000+ income earners. Narrative that the GOP has become the working class party remains overly simplistic (and requires ignoring non-white Americans to be true).

If Musk really believes this, then he should be urging the same ā€œindependent-minded votersā€ to vote for Democratic gubernatorial candidates in states with entrenched Republican-controlled legislatures — like Florida and Texas. Somehow, I don’t think he *really* believes this…
To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic.

By all accounts, Jeff Saturday is a very nice, capable person, and I hope he does well in Indianapolis. This hiring is also a reminder that the arbitrary experience roadblocks put out in front of minority candidates are nonsense.
