We increasingly agree with the conclusion of this article.
Bond Yields will hinder the NeoClouds;
So the Hyperscalers will win the unquestionable demand; and
The fastest to deploy and most efficient hyperscaler is/will be SPCX;
which also has verticals in connectivity and power.

The problem is not:
does the Technology work as an Enterprise Workflow agent,
nor is it the Adoption,
nor is it the ROIC,
and there is no Bubble.
The BIG problem is Treasury Yields.
Yesterday, @OrnnExchange's B200 and B300 indexes reached a new all-time high prices, with the B200 hitting $8.54/GPU-hour.
It is clear that today's market is lacking GPU capacity, and that the companies building deploying capacity are looking to improve their credit. In the past trading week as the B200 rental price increased by 12.9%, $CRWV fell by 25.2%.
Why does $CRWV move inversely to rising compute prices as a neocloud? 98% of Coreweave's Q2 revenue came from committed contracts, 72% from three customers, and most of its $104B backlog is recognized after mid-2028.
CoreWeave's backlog is locked at fixed prices. These higher market rates matter for new contracts they sign, so the question is where rental rates end up when their contracts roll off.
Ornn's index tracks transacted prices in order to capture what buyers are actually willing to pay for on-demand GPU rentals, real signal for tracking the value of compute.

Allegedly “the most important chart” for understanding the current state of the AI economy. The model layer seems to be going through a period of commodification as non-frontier models saturate everyday use while frontier models compete fiercely. Compute layer sees massive increase in total demand for compute regardless of the source or use case.

bill ackman on why large, boring companies now drop 25% in a day, something he says almost never happened when he started:
"a quarter of every american business, plus or minus, is owned by some combination of vanguard, state street and northern trust. when you shrink the float of a public company, the marginal buyer and seller is going to have more impact on the stock price."
"the marginal buyer and seller today is a citadel or a millennium. they operate with a large amount of leverage, very large gross books, and they're increasingly short-term."
"most investors are very short-term focused because they're compensated that way. they won't invest in a company unless they're confident the price is going to be higher on december 31st."
passive owns the float, pods set the price, and both are structurally unable to hold through a bad quarter. that inability is the opportunity.

Since the @silicondata “token index,” which captures both price and mix, peaked on May 31:
B300 prices are up 38%
B200 prices are up 10%
Other GPU indices are up *much* more.
Always been our thesis.
