Happy Labor Day, Michigan! We know actions speak louder than words; that's why House Dems have introduced over 50 bills that support workers and unions alike, because when the hardworking people of Michigan thrive, our future is bright. ✊🏾

Republicans' tariff war has cost an estimated $5,619 per household in Michigan — the highest in the country. That means no family vacation, no used car for your 16-year-old kid, or no money put away for retirement, and, for some, it means crushing debt. It’s time for change.
During the trifecta, Michigan Democrats delivered real and substantial progress for our state, including
· Historic investments in education
· Free school breakfast and lunch
· Affordable pre-kindergarten
· Repeal of the retirement tax

Did you hear?? Donald Trump solved the affordability crisis, and he doesn't want to hear about it anymore from you whiners. Don't listen to us. Take his word for it. Who are you gonna believe? Him or your lyin' grocery bills and bank statements?
Why does @RepMattHall want to defund the Michigan State Police?

Gory budget detail #1
Republican house budget removes money for testing sexual assault kits.
I can't wrap my head around what this small item says about the values of today's Republican party.
Well well well. We've been told we will finally be voting on a Republican budget in 1 hour.
Almost two months late and probably about a billion dollars short.
800 pages long. 1 hr notice.
Stay tuned as we learn the gory details.

Months after @gretchenwhitmer and @MISenDems introduced their budgets, Michigan House Republicans finally brought their own budget to the floor in the state House. It's horrendous. michigandems.com/release-mic…

Recent Dem led budgets in MI heavily invested in local police resources, violence prevention, & recruiting. 2024 crime data shows a statewide decline in both violent & property crimes.
Guess the House R’s aren’t interested in keeping that up & instead want to defund the police.
