HIT-A-THON is officially out. The entire album was fully recorded and mixed on livestream. @DDG recorded 31 songs in 7 days and we mixed and mastered the 15 track album in just 24 hours over a span of 3 days in order to make the release day. From nothing to a top 5 album across all genres in just 10 days 🤯
Needless to say we had a lot of fun getting this done and it's been great to see all the much deserved positive feedback on the album. s/o all the amazing artists, producers, engineers and mgmnt/label team for pulling off the impossible. Cant think a better team who could've pulled this off.

Cube-Tec Freefilter Mastering VPI: $1275
If you know anything about Cube-Tec, you know that these plug-ins are extremely hard to obtain, and thus, impossible to crack.
In mastering, I play around with the lower part of the frequency spectrum to get a bass sound that mimics a 90s contour that my ear likes. Paired with cuts in the upper mids and top end, this plugin helps me achieve a sound that I haven't been able to replicate with other software.
Although it looks like a shitty Graphic EQ, the sound shaping and the relationship it maintains while processing the input signal delivers a tightness that is unique to this plug.

STUTS & Julia Wu "With U" Special Live at SUB LIVE
謝謝、台北!!!!
We performed all of the songs we’ve created together, as well as many of our own songs.
It’s been 4 years since Julia and I made “World’s End”, and being able to finally perform together in Taiwan in front of so many people was incredibly meaningful.
This was also our first time performing together since the release of “With U”, and getting to play every song from the project made it such a special night.
It was also the first time Julia, Daichi Yamamoto, and I got to perform “With U” together.
We were joined by special guests Campanella and Daichi Yamamoto, along with my band members Yusei Takahashi(Pf) and Akihiko Ohgi(Gt)
I also had the chance to perform a song together with Taiwanese MPC player PUZZLEMAN, who joined us as the opening act.
I’ve had the opportunity to perform at several festivals and events in Taiwan over the years, but this was the first time I was able to do something close to a headline show here, so it truly meant a lot to me.
I hope to come back and perform in Taiwan again soon...!
先週は台湾でJulia Wuとの"With U" Special Liveでした。2人で作った全ての曲はもちろんお互いの曲もたくさんやりました。
Juliaと"World's End"を作ってから4年、ついに台湾で彼女と一緒にライブをすることができて、多くの方にお越しいただけてとても感慨深いです。
"With U"リリース以来、Juliaとライブできたのも初めてで、全ての曲を演れて本当に最高な時間でした。
ゲストにCampanellaさんとDaichi Yamamoto君、バンドメンバーにゆうせい君と仰木さんにお越しいただき演奏しました。
台湾フェスやイベントで何回かライブさせてもらってますが、ワンマン的なライブをできたのは今回が初めてだったので本当に嬉しいです。
また台湾でライブできるよう精進します。
ありがとうございました🙏
