One of my favorite quotes comes from Benjamin Franklin, who said that America’s system of governance is “a republic, if you can keep it.”
This morning, I’m left to worry how much longer we may keep it for.
Excited to share that I passed the bar exam and have taken the oath to officially become an attorney.
It’s an honor I’ve been working towards for my entire life, and I couldn’t have been more excited to share it with my family. Now I’m looking forward to the adventures to come!
This is nothing short of cowardly. I recommend you watch the monologue yourself.

ABC is pulling #JimmyKimmelLive "indefinitely" after Nexstar Media, one of the nation’s largest TV station owners, said it would stop airing the program in response to Kimmel’s remarks about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

History shows antisemitism thrives in times of intense conflict. My new @TIME article urges us to acknowledge Gaza's humanitarian catastrophe while combating discrimination against Jews worldwide.

Incredibly proud of the work I did and the small role I played in this case during my time at Brady: United Against Gun Violence. Congratulations to the whole @Bradybuzz team and to the City of Baltimore.

Make no mistake: federalizing the police and deploying the National Guard to DC isn't about a non-existent crime wave. It's an authoritarian move to crush dissent and strip Americans of their right to self-govern. This is a chilling precedent for every city in America.

17 million people losing health coverage and becoming uninsured is not "minutiae."
Let it sink in that just 1 MORE GOP Senator could have stopped this monstrous bill from coming to pass.
One person in between the American people and a reality where medicaid evaporates, wealth is transferred upwards, and families go hungry.
Remember that in the next election.

Our hearts break for the Hortman family today.
Political violence has no place in a healthy democracy and must be universally condemned. We can and we must settle our differences in America at the ballot box.

RT @aweinstein: The term “legend” is probably thrown around far too casually, but if there’s anyone who deserves it without reservation,…
I’m not sure I could ever say enough to properly eulogize or describe how important Brian Wilson was to me. I’m so glad I got to see him in concert once before it was too late.
Rest in peace.
I’m glad this is coming out, but doesn’t this just mean you willingly and silently worked with a pedophile all this time???

I was appointed to serve on the Holocaust Museum board by President Obama and served throughout the first Trump administration. The museum is a nonpartisan institution whose primary mission is to advance knowledge of the Holocaust and preserve the memory of its victims. Removing Biden appointees is petty and vindictive and distracts from - and potentially damages - this important work.
Breaking News: The Trump administration fired Joe Biden appointees, including Kamala Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff, from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum board. nyti.ms/42BomGU
