This should be the biggest scandal in Massachusetts right now. Eversource executives & employees have donated nearly $50,000 to Gov. Healey's reelection campaign while consumer electricity costs are skyrocketing. This is corruption & cronyism at the expense of consumers! #mapoli

Campaign finance records show Eversource employees, including CEO Joe Nolan, the CFO, multiple VPs, government affairs and community relations staff, an attorney, and others, have given nearly $50,000 over time to Gov. Maura Healey’s re-election committee. Fourteen of those donations arrived since September 10, including the legal maximum $1,000 from Nolan on September 21. Matching amounts went to Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll the same days.
The timing lines up with Healey’s push for faster federal review of a gas pipeline expansion Eversource supports. Nolan has said he recently had a friendly chat with Healey and Driscoll. At an industry conference he told the room her criticism of utility “greed” and profits is just election-year noise. He said they have good relations, the knocks are “nothing personal,” and after the election “the volume is going to go right down.” He has given the annual maximum to her in most recent years.
Nothing here is illegal. These are personal checks from employees, not company money, and the individual limit is $1,000 a year. Still, Massachusetts ratepayers face some of the highest electric bills in the country. The governor appoints the DPU commissioners who approve Eversource’s rate cases, and the company keeps reporting strong profits and large executive pay packages. Nolan’s own words point to a simple preference: a known regulator and quieter criticism once the campaign ends.
Any particular reason the people running the utility that keeps sending you those bills would rather she stay in office?

I'm not a Minogue fan.
All candidates exaggerate, their respective media-fronts and Party do their best to reinforce them.
One thing is 100% true: Since getting into office, Maura Healey, with help of @MassDems have destroyed this state.
Donors First.

Maura’s entire campaign.
1. Minogue supports Trump.
He’s been very clear where he disagrees with Trump. At least he’ll go to DC, make a case for MA funding instead of 50+ law suits, per @BostonGlobe.
2. Minogue is anti-abortion.
No MA R governor has the ability to eliminate abortion rights in MA. We have Dem super majority state leg.
And a state full of moderates that want a new gov focused on our 20 bigger (winnable) priorities. I’d be satisfied if we just stopped promoting MA as abortion & child gender affirmation care destination. Focus on promoting the Freedom Trail.
PS. Maura ads saying she’ll fight for abortion rights in MA is like The Office episode where Michael Scott passionately does his “Run for a Cure” fundraiser to find a cure for rabies. (Something long ago resolved. 🤦♂️)
3. Minogue is wealthy.
I love it. Run the state like a business. And he won’t be a scumbag using his office to gain wealth. Not taking a salary either.
Any other questions?

The average insurance rate in MA will go up 10.4% with Blue Cross Blue Shield going up the most at 13.2%.
In 2022, the state reported that health insurance cost the average family $26,000 a year and that has increased to over $31,000 last year. This means the average family cost is going to be over $2,500 a month not including out of pocket expenses in 2027. Hopefully, you hav a good work plan!

🚨 JUST IN: The US Attorney for Massachusetts says they REPEATEDLY asked states for the SNAP food stamps names to root out fraud, and they REFUSED
They're protecting fraud! 🤯
"Literally, we have asked the state to provide us with the names of the people who are on the rolls now. Now these are names, the federal government gives the state billions of dollars to distribute. We ask them, USDA asked them, for the list of names of the recipients, and they REFUSE to turn them over!"
"And the USDA wants the names and the identifiers so they can confirm whether these people are actually true identities, or also receiving these payouts in other states."

You know that feeling when you open your property tax bill and feel your stomach drop? Hold onto that feeling because there are people right now actively trying to remove the only law that keeps that number in check. Proposition 2½ caps how much your town can raise your property taxes each year. Repeal it and that cap disappears forever. This is happening right now. We cannot afford to let this go quietly.

Wake up and keep your eyes open, Massachusetts.
Two Massachusetts girls are still missing after disappearing on the same day, April 27. 16-year-old Fayth Rose Dean from South Dartmouth (last seen near Bakerville Road) and 14-year-old Neveah Cruz from Bridgewater (last seen around 9:30 p.m., possibly in the Brockton, Taunton, or Boston area).
This is a heartbreaking reminder that our communities are not as safe as they should be. We need elected officials who will work to make our streets safe for kids. Not soft on crime where more criminals are on the streets.
Everyone, please be on the lookout for both girls and pray they are returned safely to their parents.

Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who's tired of Beacon Hill Democrats making taxpayers foot the bill for criminals while public safety keeps getting worse.
Republican Rep. Steve Xiarhos put forward a commonsense amendment to end cashless bail. It would stop the state from paying bail commissioner fees outside normal business hours. It failed on a straight party line vote, about 26 to 123.
Democrats had the chance to stop forcing law abiding families to subsidize criminals. But they chose politics and leniency over keeping our communities safe. These kinds of policies are making our communities less safe every single day.
This is what one party rule looks like. They tell you one thing but vote for failed policies that make things worse.
Would you like to see this amendment pass? Did your representative's vote match your views? November 2026 is our chance to bring real change. Pay attention folks.

Beacon Hill Is Making You Pay Illegal Immigrants' Rent. That's Not Fair
Massachusetts lawmakers voted down a proposal that would have blocked illegal immigrants from receiving taxpayer-funded rental assistance worth up to $30,000.
Rep. Ken Sweezey, R-Duxbury, offered the amendment to the House version of the Fiscal Year 2027 budget. It would have required the state to verify U.S. citizenship before handing out HomeBASE benefits.
Beacon Hill Democrats rejected it.
The vote wasn’t even close. Just 26 representatives supported the amendment. A total of 132 voted no.

🚨 Let’s get this straight, Massachusetts.
State Police intercept 21 kilograms of cocaine being delivered to Governor Healey’s Springfield state office.
The dealer? Her senior aide. $115,000-a-year deputy director.
He gets fired October 28th.
Three weeks later, Healey’s HR department mistakenly sends him a $31,438 check for unused vacation pay.
He cashes it. Spends it. The state tries to claw it back. The accounts are empty.
He needed money for bail. We just gave him $31,000 of it.
Healey’s response? “That was a mistake.”
Anyone in HR getting fired? No.
Records on how he got hired with a 2001 gun arrest? Sealed.
Records on what happened inside the state building? Hidden.
Massachusetts taxpayers just helped bail out a cocaine trafficker.
This is what four years of Maura Healey looks like.
Mike Minogue for Governor.
🚨 Massachusetts. November 2026. Look at the receipts.
MAURA HEALEY'S RECORD
❌ Her senior aide caught running a cocaine pipeline through the Springfield State Office Building… 21 kilograms seized
❌ Pledged "transparency like never before" as a candidate… now claims her office is exempt from public records law (one of only two states in America)
❌ Stayed silent while Beacon Hill leaders blocked the 72% voter-backed legislative audit… let her own AG defend the legislature in court instead of the voters
❌ 33,340 families packed up and fled the state last year
❌ 3rd most expensive state in America… $313,747 a year to live "comfortably"
❌ $1.9 BILLION poured into migrant shelters at $15,166 per family per month
❌ 3rd-highest electricity rates in the country… up 70% in ten years
❌ 44 MBTA derailments in twelve months… her own administration called it a "spiral of doom"
❌ Housing grade: F. Second worst in the nation
❌ Business climate ranking collapsed to 46th… the biggest single-year drop in America
❌ Dark money scandals. Hidden travel. Broken transparency promises
❌ Watched the Democrat AG, whom she herself endorsed, block Mike Minogue's offer to fund the audit lawyers at zero cost to taxpayers… and then refuse to represent the auditor in court.

✅ Founded MedTechVets, a nonprofit that helps military veterans launch careers in the medical-technology industry
✅ The Minogue Family Foundation gave away $2 million+ last year to schools, veterans organizations, police departments, and community programs across Massachusetts
✅ Funded his entire campaign with $12.5 million of his own money. No PAC checks. No special-interest money. No IOUs to dark-money donors
✅ Won 70.4% of MassGOP delegates at the convention… a first-time candidate who beat two former state officials on a single message: Beacon Hill needs to be accountable to the voters
Maura Healey presided over the decline.
