Spent a few days with some of the last dedicated court reporters in the country, @CourtNewsUK at the Old Bailey, watching cases of cocaine smuggled in bananas and gang murders and wondering why so much of this stuff is never known. For @gdnlongread theguardian.com/news/article…

Abusing your position as Secretary of State to prop up your constituency vote is a breach of the Ministerial Code.
The public rightly expect ministers to serve the British people, and not themselves.
The Environment Secretary needs to address these concerns immediately.

@energygovuk Hi does anyone check your press office email? I'm just checking if anyone there will confirm what the clarification was all about in relation to the DCO published and withdrawn last week and then republished yesterday for the Medworth EfW plant.
@energygovuk So you cause a week of confusion and won't explain why. Seems fair. #shambles

I spent yesterday in Middlesbrough with @wasteknotenergy’s @IJones2022 for a feature on the turnaround of the project since he took it over. Anyone familiar with the project - and my previous stories - will know what a job he’s done there.
