When naming things like tables, always future proof If you sell wine, calling a table “wines” will be confusing when expanding to beer “Beverages” will be confusing when you sell ice “Products” confusing when expand to services recommend tables be called “stuff” or “table1”

My favorite thing to tell consultants who are thinking about product: product management is like if you had to actually follow through on your recommendation deck & you were personally responsible for making sure it all worked as planned. Sound fun? You'll love it.
