Never think that speaking up and advocating for change can’t make a difference. Thank you to the @LouSafetyZone advocates who showed up meeting after meeting and helped Louisville join the ranks of cities across the U.S.-from Pittsburgh to Boulder to Pensacola-with safety zones.
We’ve needed safety zone legislation in Louisville for a long time but now more than ever. I was happy to stand with supporters today and to be a sponsor, along with @cassie4council, @jecoreyarthur and @CouncilmanJames, of this ordinance- louisville.legistar.com/View…

“I have a heart for people... you would vote a certain way... I would never stand for a women to be harassed while accessing healthcare” CW McCraney

“Women have the right to free access to healthcare. This is about safety”
.@BillHollander speaks to Dr. Fitzgerald, anesthesiologist, noting the stress that patients face from physical confrontations and the adverse consequences before a procedure that impact patient health.
.@CMPiagentini asks for more police presence at EMW. A bright line on the sidewalk would help law enforcement.
