Been cooking on this for a while. Very happy with how it came out!
THE FIRST SHIFT HAS ARRIVED! Step out of the shadows with Night Shift's first merch drop, inspired by the supernatural Cursed Apple. Shop now: shop.dlns.gg
I paused AI for 40 minutes to look at the new map, and now there's like 5 billion troopers duking it out in mid and my game is running at 1 FPS. Help

We got to take the extended @DLNightShift team out for dinner on the company card tonight.
Feels good to build again
Got a new observer for @DLNightShift this week. Trying his best, did fall asleep a couple of times
First time doing cinematic replays for one of these shows. Was a lot of fun, hopefully more of that in the future!
Thanks for tuning in to the @FACEIT_OW x @OW_Esports Promotion/Relegation broadcast! We had a great time - hope you enjoyed!

Love this from @Kaelaris 💙 It's been my view for a long time that esports prods underutilise the incredibly experienced talent it hires because it lacks underlying resource or effort to segment produce. – at West End, England
Why Analysis Desks FAIL.
This video by @Thorin is extremely accurate.
I can't speak to the inner workings of CS, but almost everything i've hosted since the disappearing of SC desks has been totally cookie cutter at the full control of TO or dev.
It's been extremely frustrating to have almost zero impact on the flow or state of something where talented people can inject some life between games, but we have to look at the same graphics every segment, the same sequence every segment because its "written on the rundown".
Great producers like @Sam_Deans or @slmnio who listen and react to desks, give options on what you want to show, allow for some personality and unexpected moments. These are the kinds of setups that should be mandatory for any esports show, not just generic producer who want to get through a segment going A->B->C done every time.
I too hear the same news that TOs think they need to cut Analysis desks in 2026. No, you've just failed for the last few years in giving us the right environment to make it entertaining and fun.

Could not agree more. From my limited producer experience, working with talent to build these fun segments beforehand, or rolling with bits and banter in the moment is one of the best parts of the job.
And if you're having fun, and the desk is having fun, so is the audience.

LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below
It's unreal to see something that started as a little passion project with big dreams now grow to something where over 10K people are watching live.
Going to be very cool to see where Deadlock and Night Shift will go in the future.
PS, if you are a brand that would like to work with us, you can message me here, on discord (lotu), DM @DLNightShift or email us on the email in our bio.
