🍎An apple a day? Amazingly, less than 10% of the apples we enjoy are grown in Ireland... but change is on the way! In Monday's @10Things_ToKnow About #FeedingtheFuture @AmyHassett meets James @Longwayscider & @albertorluz from @teagasc to explore how we can boost local produce and support local growers!

Beautiful day yesterday for the final press of the season - this year didn’t have the same sugar boost as last year due to our shabby July, but produced some really interesting phenolics throughout. Looking forward to what comes next….over to you wild yeasts! 🍎🍐

Located on an island in the River Suir, Cahir Castle is an impressive sight in Cahir town centre and is one of the largest and best preserved castles in Ireland. It became the stronghold of the Butler family in 1375 and remained in their possession until 1961. #VisitTipp

Fine wine producers and small producers will simply not bother supplying us rather than put Ireland specific labels on bottles - goodbye to 95% of organic wine, and to most small importers also!
