Surprise! Now there's an apple you don't see every day....its called Hidden Crimson, for a good reason by the looks of it😄 Not ripe yet but we couldn't help taking a look after a 5 year wait since planting.

The experimental section of the drinks cabinet, all of the drinks coming from common garden plants. And a rolling alcohol free fizz; a continuous wild ferment that is drank fizzy before the abv is above 0.5%. This one from wild water mint + frozen lime leaves🍃
The first pressings of the year are underway this week :-) Nice volume
of apples but the lack of sun has them a little light on sugar so far. We’ll see how they develop !
Great talks today @feastcork by @flavourIE called ‘Cook the Books’ with a fine selection of stories, books and tastes from @Bibliocook @caitruthfood Michelle Darmody and @ShamHanifa !
@ShamHanifa those frozen lime leaves are a revelation, I’ve been cooking Agak agak inspired everything since Saturday! ❤️
Great session today at @corkonaforkfest with Laurie, Liam, Mark and Brian for a live podcast of @whiskeychatspod at @CorkOperaHouse

Loving the setup at No.2 Point Road in Crosshaven, a coffee shop and pantry converted from the old terrace, and including a few familiar products amongst an excellently curated collection of items 😃🌞

Looking good guys - we’ll be pouring an interesting selection tonight at #corkwhiskeyfest. Our Rare Apple
Ice Wine and Pom’O are there but also upcoming releases & experiments with a whiskey theme going on. Think of them as pallet cleansers or respite from 50% abv samples 😆🍎🍏
Congratulations to Sonya & Laurie who have put so much time & passion into organising year 2 of @CorkWhiskeyFest. Kicking off this evening, bringing whiskey connoisseurs from all over the world to the VQ in #Cork for a packed weekend of master classes, tastings & toasts! Sláinte!
Thanks for the review of our Pom’O (20mins in)🥃For the UK listeners we are having a tricky time getting stock into the UK (yes the ‘B’ word) but there might be a few bottles @catintheglass and hoping to increase supplies in years to come !
What are the ciders that have shaped the way you look at the drink, and possibly changed your life?
In this episode, Albert hands the pod keys to @JustinWells1346 and @Adam_HWells, who sit down to answer this very question.
We’re delighted to be available in the Quaich Bar Avant Garde on Beach Road in Singapore, along with some of the finest and most whiskeys known to human kind! Thanks all and hope your customers enjoy the fruits of Ireland🥂

Pruning day 1 - curious discovery made; the freshly cut wood of a red fleshed apple tree variety is itself red tinged! Some sore shoulders and elbows after it but was a beautiful day to be out
😎🇮🇪🍏🍎🍐
Nice to see us as included in excellent hamper at The Pantry @cliffhousehotel
The Killahora crew are on 'de telly' in RTE's Ear to the Ground tonight at 7pm and Sunday at 1.10, talking about our history, the land, what we make and how we do it.

On #ettg tomorrow, Thurs 14th @7pm, we turn apples and pears into glorious drinks @Killahora, @ellamcsweeney meets a cork dairy farmer trying to remove artificial fertiliser from his farm, and @darraghmccullou finds out what makes Tug of war so popular
