Today, together with @Unity_MemoryRw , we received a contribution of RWF 130,797,092 from @LiquidInTechRW , as part of our ongoing partnership.
This support will contribute to preserving the memory of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi through initiatives that educate young people about Rwanda’s history, promote unity and fight genocide ideology.
Through #IgihangocyUrungano and the use of modern technology to preserve historical evidence and artifacts at genocide memorial sites, we continue to engage young people in safeguarding Rwanda’s history for future generations.

This morning, Minister @DrDamascene received a symbolic cheque of FRW 130,797,092 from @LiquidInTechRW during a handover ceremony attended by representatives from @MINUBUMWE, @Imbuto, and Liquid Intelligent Technologies.
The contribution will support MINUBUMWE’s mission to preserve the memory of the Genocide against the Tutsi, facilitate intergenerational dialogue, and establish educational galleries across genocide memorials.
One of the key achievements of this partnership is the completion and launch of the educational gallery at the Ntarama Genocide Memorial. The gallery documents the preparation, execution, brutality, and resistance associated with the Genocide against the Tutsi in and around Bugesera.
Another example is the ongoing development of an educational gallery at the Nyange Genocide Memorial in Ngororero District. The memorial commemorates a particularly tragic chapter of the Genocide against the Tutsi, in which Father Athanase Seromba, a Catholic priest, ordered the destruction of a church where more than 2,000 Tutsi had sought refuge, burying them alive.
The Minister thanked @LiquidInTechRW & @Imbuto, emphasizing that this milestone will help teach history, combat denial on social media, preserve testimonies, and empower youth to ensure "Never again".
