Every L2 and alt-L1 says it's "EVM-compatible". Your Solidity compiles, your tests pass, you deploy But compatible with what, exactly? I ran the same 231 tests on 27 chains and diffed every answer against Ethereum's. Some surprised me 🧵

Congrats to Zellic Cryptographer @JiaxinGuan for two accepted papers at TCC 2026, with one of them earning the Outstanding Paper Award! He will be presenting both results at the Theory of Cryptography Conference in New York this November.

🥧BAKED IN🥧 Any developer that uses OpenZeppelin templates or token wizard for their token (hint: they all do) can now easily get CCIP and ACE standards baked in.
Today we’re announcing a strategic partnership with @chainlink Chainlink CCIP and ACE are now natively embedded across OpenZeppelin tooling, giving institutions and developers one trusted foundation for moving assets and operations onchain.

Last week, I had the opportunity to contribute to BGIN Block 15’s Post-Quantum Cryptography Migration workshops, hosted at Georgetown University, as an invited key contributor. I presented a live demo of pqcvisualizer.com and discussed why post-quantum migration goes far beyond replacing signatures. My written contribution explores the technical, operational, and governance challenges of making that transition. Read it here: valens.me/writing/post-quant…

> looking for a new node > ask the devs if their node is reth or not > they don't understand > pull out illustrated diagram explaining modularity, performance, and production readiness > they laugh and say "it's a good node sir" > read the code > it's reth
tempo is built by the same team that i started in 2021 that built reth, foundry, alloy etc reth is powering not just tempo, but also all of our competitors like arc, plasma, base- basically 100% of the high perf evm ecosystem still lotta work to do but proud of the last 5 yrs

Stop automatically thinking you're bad at things. Replace the thought with "This is new to me". Give your brain the space to learn instead of shut down.

There's a trend in software (well I might be conflating a few trends) that I think is not going to bode well for most: - With how insane coding agents and the models are getting, it's very easy to just build "everything" but we're seeing just insane scope creep that don't really serve the purpose of the "thing" the product wants to solve for customers - Everyone is going to collectively relearn the painful lesson as to why super apps have never worked in the west (spoiler alert it was never that "software was hard") - A lot of companies are calling themselves "labs" as a way to excuse themselves from building *one product* that people actually use (repeatedly) but rather multiple mediocre products (non-stop launches on the timeline), few are focused on actual "research" but rather are doing sub-par R&D or product development - Because new software/products/features are so easy to build, it's easy to find new things to latch onto (technological innovation) that aren't the thing you should care about (like retention). I agree with Nikita that technological moats are mostly over - When everyone is gunning to build *everything*, there's massive alpha in just building simple things that are focused and well-executed

I feel like I'm missing something...how is this company still companying? We've got an exploded parts breakdown to help you determine if malicious hardware has been installed inside your device? We're of course being reminded that the warranty will be voided if you open it which is just absolutely diabolical. Like I'm sorry but I don't understand how there aren't more indicators that a wallet has been cracked open and messed with? After the data breaches, and now this - why are we still tolerating this?!

I've been discussing how much of "the transaction lifecycle" is off the actual blockchain for a loooong time now. Yet that seems to be the only focus of the industry. So I've started to write about it and look at it more specifically, using an application (built on @Logos_network) to elucidate the points I've been trying to make. We leak data across the entire txn lifecycle, and all of that data is monetized, or leveraged in some other more nefarious way, against the user. Here's the first in the series, looking at all the steps along the way before we even start to draft the txn itself. forum.research.logos.co/t/th… I would love feedback and criticism. Break the model I've made and prove me wrong, let me know what else you'd like to see, what other data would bolster the argument or prove it wrong? I'm want to dive and I want your help doing it. Logos is a modular stack that makes it easier for me to really do it all and watch the data flow through the whole pipeline, let's go!
