Why are we doing this to ourselves?
Lola Daviet was a French 12-year-old girl living in Paris. Lola, like many young girls, loved gymnastics. She was very happy to be selected to participate in the French championship.
Sadly, that dream was never allowed to become reality, because exactly three years ago, on October 14th 2022, Lola was kidnapped, raped, extensively tortured, and ultimately murdered by Algerian migrant Dahbia Benkired. Lola's mutilated body was later discovered in a suitcase.
Benkired, of course, had already received an order to leave the territory and was therefore illegally in France.
For Lola, and for the thousands of other victims of the Great Replacement, we demand remigration. Everyone who opposes this has Lola’s blood on their hands.

No bro, he was panicked because he was trying to impart state secrets to the child, like the names of the co conspirators in several Clinton assassinations.
To make Mormonism work, this guy is literally arguing that Jesus failed. LDS do not believe in Christ's Providence and Dominion over Creation.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Had to like his comment. It's just so Mormon. God surely loves the Mormons, but goodness gracious they frustrate me and I struggle to be like Him.
This is the exact same problem with the Pope.
If they were confused because of a new Revelation, how did the Prophet not clarify?
If they were NOT confused, why did they stop?
You rely on the Prophet to clarify, except when they don't there isn't an issue with the office.
This is an easy one to answer. To understand why they would stop doing it, you have to understand first why they started doing it.
The principle of eternal sealings was introduced in the 1840s. At the time of its introduction, people were anxious to live the principle, though not all had yet been revealed on the subject. (As the Lord operates, "line upon line".)
So the people of the Church tried to do their best with their limited understanding, anxious to ensure that they and their loved ones were covered.
Why were they anxious? What did sealing mean to the early Saints? What would it mean to _not_ be sealed? What would it mean if you died without being sealed (or "adopted")?
They had a lot of questions to wrestle with.
The answer for many who did not want to lose their loved ones in the eternities was to find someone to accept a sealing to their children who were of a legal marriage age. (I believe that was something like 12 or 14 at the time.)
Do note that sealings and marriage are not synonymous here. Sealing means you have an eternal bond or connection. (Like there are sealings of children to parents within the covenant, but the children aren't married to the parents.)
Ok, so why did they stop?
Now that we know why the practice started, answering the question of why it was stopped is simple: we've received more understanding and revelation. (See the 1894 declaration.)
Sealing is a family matter. We must be sealed to our parents in a chain back and it is also important to be sealed to a spouse to whom we are legally and lawfully wed. Not to a random "Church celebrity", as it were.
You know what's astonishing? That the modern LDS Church isn't sealing children and teens to Apostles in a dynastic/familial way like they used to.
If there was nothing wrong with it, why have they stopped? Why deny these blessing that Helen Marr Kimball and Fanny Alger enjoyed?
And exactly which non fictional characters do you appeal to when you seek to live in continuity with Book of Mormon?
Mormons: "I've never heard of other faiths sharing our personal spiritual confirmation method with their own scriptures and gods, therefore you must be lying."
Lord have mercy. Arguing with them is a chore. It's the last thread I'm actively on but I need to drop, honestly.
21 hours. I can do this. 21 hours. I've been putting off doing this for months. I hate work. This is just guaranteeing more work in a career that is being outsourced to death and my competition is the entire planet of fraudsters with degrees from 40/100 passing grade schools.
Boycott them saar!
As America is suspending H-1B programs for many Indians, we Indians should ban the use of American apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram so that America faces a huge economic downfall and then let America beg all Indians to come back. America will regret doing this.

US has not suspended H-1B programs. It suspended specific companies from the PERM green card sponsorship program, citing alleged abuse.
