Fancy unheated swimming 🏊♀️ in our pool in October? Would you give it a go? 🤔 #lido #Stonehaven #Aberdeenshire @LLAberdeenshire @future_lidos @historicpools @LidoGuide
The phrase ‘lido expert’ usually makes our families start rolling their eyes and yawning… but we wear the (swim) cap with pride.
Lido Guide authors and outdoor swimming experts Emma Pusill and Janet Wilkinson share their top UK lidos in @TheSun !

Obviously, heartfelt apologies to @deliciousswim for the ‘long, long time ago’… she know two things.
1. I am not above dramatic effect
2. We are the same sort of age!
We’re delighted to have Emma Pusill with us celebrating the launch of the 2nd edition @LidoGuide & sharing the story of her co-author Janet Wilkinson’s @deliciousswim visit to Stonehaven as a little girl - early inspiration for what was to come!

TWO DAYS TO GO... Deadline 16th June. Still time (just....) to grab a limited run @_Wonderstuff Art x Sport SS24 tee! Look good, support the project, and boost restoration efforts. Thank you for all your likes, RTs, etc. #futurelidos #changingthefuture wonderstuff.co/store/
Can anybody help?
@LidoGuide
Pls can someone help us! Our steps that help less able swimmers to enter/exit the pool have had to be temporarily removed because one of the steps has broken 😞
We've no record of where they were purchased. Does anyone recognise the design/manufacturer? #LazonbyPool

9 years... this is pretty much the timeline of @deliciousswim and I trying to get this book into the big wide world! And here we are on a 2nd edition of #TheLidoGuide - obviously available now from all your favourite booksellers!
Really looking forward to seeing the @dripdroptheatre production inspired by @savegrangelido - and I hear that our book is a prop, @unbounders! I'm going to the Helmsley performance and I hear there are tix left there, Grange-over-Sands and Saltburn-by-Sea

Hi! We're back... Busy winter and spring getting stuff done.
First up, a design collaboration with @_Wonderstuff Art x Sport. A SS14 must have, helping raise awareness, support the project and restoration efforts. @future_lidos @LidoGuide @LibbyPageWrites wonderstuff.co/store/
So, the 2nd edition of #TheLidoGuide is out and my TL is FULL of lidos making last minute plans to open. Spring is springing! To celebrate these things let’s play a little game of #FantasyLido 1/?
So come on then, bring me your #FantasyLido creations! I’ll let this run for a week and the one with the most likes at the end will get a Lido Guide swim cap. And you only have to use all the categories. Less can be more! 5/5
And a round up of all the pools I name checked above. Give them a follow: @LidoPh @FavershamPools @StoneyPool @BudeSeaPool @shoalstonepool @LidoPonty @FriendsofIlkley @PortisheadLido
No probably about it… Northleach takes the ‘smallest’ crown… any shallower and it‘d be a paddling pool.
But size ain‘t everything. its what you do with it that counts and this sweet little pool does great things for its community
Morning #cotswold twitter.
My local lido, is fundraising, probably the smallest in the UK and ran entirely by volunteers.
An evening out in the heart of the Cotswolds you can get your tickets here ticketsource.co.uk/whats-on/…
