Libraries provide access to diverse books that provide windows, mirrors and sliding glass doors for our teens, better preparing them for the world beyond school. That's another reason we love libraries!

Parents absolutely get to decide what books their kids read or don’t, but their jurisdiction doesn’t extend to other people’s children. Our family (and many others) wants our kids/grandkids to read accurate history and the rich stories of ALL of humanity. Leave our kids alone.

A reminder, even though school is out in Texas(and elsewhere) your school boards are still meeting. Keep an eye on their posted agendas so things don't slip by. Defending intellectual freedom is a year round effort!
