From paralysis to parliament in ten years. Almost exactly ten years ago I was totally paralysed while studying in Argentina. Fortunately I made a full recovery thanks to our NHS, care system and a big dose of good luck. Am now here to fight for others 💪

Today I asked the UK government if they believe community hospital beds are an important part of the healthcare system. This is probably the 6th or 7th time I have asked this question, including to the former Prime Minister. I have not yet had an answer.

. @joseph_carterUK has an outstanding record as a local councillor in Cardiff! He is a fantastic choice as our candidate in Cardiff North and would make a great representative for the city in Westminster. Ymlaen! 🔶🏴

EXCITING NEWS - I’m pleased to be selected as the @welshlibdems candidate for Cardiff North. Whilst I hope that a snap general election isn’t called and the focus should be on the council elections, it’s good to be prepared.

It takes enormous courage to speak publicly about experiences like these. Thank you to Tracy for bravely sharing her story.
Rural isolation can make it even harder for victims of abuse to access help. I’ll be pushing the Government for more support.

She would probably fall out with it.
Kemi Badenoch would put us all in danger - like when she called on the government to join Donald Trump’s war with Iran.
Many across Wales who care about the environment will be concerned by what’s happening in the Green Party
If you believe environmentalism is rooted in equality, tolerance & standing against prejudice in all forms, there’s a home for you in the @WelshLibDems

I feel profoundly sad for the Greens that joined a party thinking they were going to be environmentalists and have found themselves surrounded by antisemitism.
I am also appalled at the cowardice displayed by their leader, who chose not to lead, but to hide.
If you’re a Green Party member and your political foundation is rooted in equality for all, as well as being a proud custodian of our natural world, you can find your political home in the Liberal Democrats.
The decision to include Wales as an area of investigation is long overdue, but very welcome.
Victims & survivors deserve answers. That means examining how Wales’s devolved institutions and services responded, identifying failures & ensuring lessons are learned.
