I shall never tire of seeing children experience a live orchestra for the first time. Ever. A brilliant introduction to classical music — thanks to @londonsymphony and @rachleachmusic .
Year 3 had a brilliant time at today’s @londonsymphony Schools Concert, presented by the fantastic Rachel Leach! The children dressed as pirates and joined in with amazing music and storytelling. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! @GriffinSchools @rachleachmusic
Such a special evening! Extremely proud of all our young singers! A rest is now well deserved to the fabulous team I have the pleasure of working with. Happy summer break!
What a way to end the year! To celebrate 10 years of the #GriffinArtsFestival singers from the #GriffinChildrensChorus came together at @stgilescg for the Big Sing 2024! A huge thank you and well done to all! @RaceLeys @parklanegst @RiverleyPrimary @WillowBrookGST @ace_national

This was one of those ‘I really do have the best job’ moments. Music for music sake. Exceptional singing. Memories made. Phenomenal team of 14 music teachers made this possible. #musiceducation #MusicEd #candomusic
Congratulations to the Griffin Children’s Chorus on a spectacular concert at @stgilescg Our ‘Celebration of Carols’ is a proud tradition that truly nurtures and cultivates a passion for music and singing.

Less than week until nearly 200 students from across our Trust perform at @stgilescg This is the first time since 2019 that we’ve been able to hold this concert and am super excited for it!! Thrilled that we’ve for @NCSBedworth brass students coming too! @misst_music
4 wks ago I played the organ at London Bridge station. My 1st time playing an organ. Hooked, I got in touch with a local church asking if they’d mind me using their organ for practice. Today was the first time I played for/with others and I loved it. #remembranceday @annalapwood
@annalapwood one year later and I’m still in the club. 😎 Happy organversary to me and this fun little beast.
#ofsted not once but twice in one week (different schools). Much to celebrate. Might need a nap by Friday pm. #edutwitter #musiced #educationleadership

Popped up to @NCSBedworth to catch their show! A brilliant production, over 100 students involved, and a great crowd too!! Opportunities like this can be life changing and make schools a very special place. A huge 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 to all the staff and young performers and crew! @GSTmus
Today’s a big day! The @GriffinArtsFest kicks off its tenth year and I am suitably branded! Two weeks of amazing arts activities across our 12 schools! Let’s Go!!
Never before have I seen a show 4 times. Today I got ‘the’ shot and saw 2 new cast memebers brilliantly take on the epic roles of Hester and Ewen! How do they do it? Does a newt fear death? I just don’t know. Brava tutti @mincemeatlive @spitlip . I’ll be back again, no doubt.
Very much looking forward to attending the Anniversary Concert to cheer on our wonderful musicians at @NCSBedworth. @GSTmus
Just 3 days to go until our 10th Anniversary Concert at @thelaneldn with special performing guests @JessGillamSax @OfficialALW and @thekannehmasons! We are so excited to see students from our partner schools across the country performing together. Only 30 tickets left! lwtheatres.co.uk/whats-on/mi…

An Easter weekend I won’t forget for a while. Friday night in NYC at the @MetOpera for Der rosenkavalier, then Mahler 5 this eve with the @TorontoSymphony. Sublime.
Disappointed to have missed this years @MusicEdExpo but Ofsted called. A slightly different few days than planned, but a positive experience nonetheless. Such a great team to work with and a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our provision. #musiced #musicdeepdive #timeforsleep
I may have reached my musical peak! Spent the afternoon working on an arrangement of Colours of the Wind for the organ. I’ve titled it ‘Colours of the Wind Pipes’. 🍂🍃🍂 #disneymusic #filmmusic #organmusic #Pocahontas #pipeorgan #organtok
Played in church again this morning! Sermon began with “You are the salt of the earth…” My brain went “Don’t, say it Delivett, don’t say it…” @Dawn_French if you know, you know! #TheVicarofDibley 🤭 #organist #sundayservice
Well, here we go. Brave enough to record myself attempting Silent Night.
2022 was the year to start a new hobby. Slow progress and my face needs some serious work.
Merry Christmas and may 2023 be full of music.
Ps. Thanks to @annalapwood for the intro to this fab instrument.
A wonderful evening of music last night at the @cambridgemusic Christmas concert. @johnmrutter brilliantly leading the @TheBachChoir and congregation and @davidhconductor on organ. Included some beautiful settings of music old and new. Thanks to @geoffparkin4 for taking me 🎄🎵🎄

Concert season is crazy. Yet, when the dust settles on their time at school, the memories of such events will live long in their memory. Not only this, the friendships they make and the experiences they gain will accompany them through life to the betterment of everything.
A two show day with a fabulous team at @RiverleyPrimary and @WillowBrookGST Two outstanding whole school productions with such a great turn out of families! Always a great joy to be playing live music! #musicteacherlife #musiced @GSTmus
