Current IPEV (In-Person Early Voting) Map of Florida
#Florida #FLSen #FLGov #Midterms2022 #Midterms #MidtermElections
For years, I have been a far left Democrat. Today, I voted a straight Republican ticket, because I have had too much of the left's nonsense. I urge all of you to do the same. #VoteRedToSaveTheUSA #MAGA #dumbocraps

Florida Early Mail and In Person Vote Update 10/20:
For right now I will continue to separate the mail and early vote, just so we can keep following it in Florida since both will be substantial parts of the early vote here.
For mail Republicans gained 0.21% against Democrats in total share, showing that they are increasing their rate of return over Democrats. I think we will continue to see this happen, as it is becoming very clear Democrats are switching the method of their vote.
This would make sense given what we saw in the in person early vote (IPEV) yesterday. Democrats showed up in force, basically tying Republicans in the in person vote. There was about 171K votes yesterday, Republicans barely won 40.51% to 40.14%.
This was a substantial shift from prior elections (about 19% from 2022) BUT if you take into account he shift in the mail then what we have seen overall is less substantial shift to Democrats (about a 3% shift).
Currently Democrats have a 52,778 lead with all methods of early voting over Republicans, 41.92% to 37.14%.
Keep an eye out today on how Democrats do in the early vote. They came out the gate hot but can they sustain it? Republicans maintain a large registration advantage and if prior history follows, they should be able to start grinding out a lead at some point. Obviously if that does not happen then Republicans will be looking at problems in Florida, but I would not expect that at all.

Montgomery County finishes the day at 81.4% of 2024 Day 1 turnout. Travis County polls are still open for another hour, but the total % for Travis is going to be well short of Montgomery.
All in all, a good day for the Texas GOP, especially in Montgomery County.

After losing the first day of IPEV in Clark by over 800 votes, the GOP is now leading the Dems in Clark at the 3 PM update. A welcome sight and a sign that Dems may have frontloaded their IPEV. We might start to see a big falloff as the week progresses for the Dems. Only time will tell.

Wow! Montgomery County, TX which voted for Trump in 2024 by 45 points and for Ken Paxton by the same margin in the 2026 Senate primary runoff is out in droves voting this morning.
Republicans will want to continue to see high turnout in places like this.

New voters driving Dem performance in Clark? Nope. Among adults 25+, comparative newcomer turnout is nearly even to 2022 after accounting for age and when they registered. The Dem lead is mostly regulars getting out faster.

Texas poll workers cannot view marked ballots or comment on voters' choices. Denton County does not allow handing in mail ballots at polling locations during early voting.
