A special and tiny plant in full bloom on the #SomersetLevels - mousetail. Its green 'tail' will grow longer as it continues to flower. Rare and overlooked, it likes muddy trampled areas such as gateways. You may have walked over it - it's only 3cm tall!

Sadly, we've noticed a growing number of dog poo bags being left on reserves! We unfortunately don't have the resources to install bins & have them emptied regularly, so we're asking dog owners to please bag it & take it with you to bin offsite! Thanks! ow.ly/aVX730nGJ2t

Great to see controlled #waterlevelmanagement involving @IDBsomerset, local farmers and community for habitat, agriculture people and landscape. Hope things reacting as expected with recent rains. And wishing you and the team a good and not too busy Christmas.

Why not head to Catcott Lows this weekend to see overwintering birds? Water levels are high and lots of wigeon and lapwing can be seen at this time of year. #LoveWildlife See more: ow.ly/kMld30n4Fyi
